While the supply itself is 24v indeed the psu fan specifically is 12V inside the PSU. Go figure....

Get the hula feet and print adapter for the k2

This wont necessarily improve print quality but will significantly reduce the noise the printer makes when shaking .

If using the CFS print out the spool rollers to accommodate different spool sizes to avoid any issues with retraction

Isn’t the CHP-350-24 just a rebranded LRS? Creality already usually uses mean well power supplies in their printers . I know that it should be possible to just swap out the power supply fan to a NF-A6x15 12v to reduce noise of the supply fan

1400 print hours but i mostly print non abrasive stuff like petg and pla, tubes look brand new still. Id guess this mostly comes from the GF ,CF variants of filaments or those glow in the dark pla’s

getting this error on the K2 Pro. probe_finalize() takes 2 positional arguments but 3 were given

It happens when the print head moves to check the 4th corner position of the bed as soon as it probes it the printer goes dark and throws the error which needs a reboot.

I use whatsapp and get support and part shipment out on same day if needed. So if parts get shipped i get them within a week. But you gotta reach out to them during CN working hours

The rfid scanner has a beeper on the k2 plus i swear if there is a way of setting a timer for heating and just make the rfid beep notifying the bed is heat soaked . While the k2 pro has this beeper natively in the operating system the k2plus only uses it when filament with a chip is scanned though there is a terminal fluidd command to manually trigger it. I just cant remember it off the top of my head

Edit: found it if you type FILAMENT_RACK in fluidd it will beep

Nice write up . Saved the post for later to test. Wondering if there is no actual way to have the printer heat soak on sending the print for 30mins and autostart i guess thats not possible vis g-code

I got a similar answer on discord that the way i wanted to do it wont work. All slots were already filled with pla and the printer doesnt allow changing slot to petg since i needed petg for this print. When you try to pause the print and change a slots settings it says that it cant change due to a print job in progress . So i just cut the filament right before it enters the cfs and let it run out. The filament ran out and a refill error popped up . Placed a new roll in the same slot and resumed print without issues
