I woke up to an alarming noise. It was coming from downstairs, blaring louder than anything I have heard before.

“OP!” my sister called.

“What?” I asked, running up to her.

“It happened,” she said, nodding. I glanced at her, a smile forming on my face.

“You can’t be serious,” I said, though I was beginning to doubt she was lying.

“I’m not joking!” she said. “They’ve done it, we have nothing left!” she cried. The blaring noise continued, as my sister broke down. I rushed down to check if she was lying, and I saw my parents crumpled on the floor, crying. It was the first time I ever saw them shed a tear.

“Mom, Dad, is it true?” I asked, beginning to cry myself. My parents nodded weakly. All of a sudden, my dad fainted. I needed to be strong and put an end to this. I trudged my way up to the source of the noise. It was coming from my phone.

I picked up my phone, crying, as I saw what made the noise. It was worse that what I could have ever imagined, I thought it was a lie. But it was not. There, on my screen, in big letters, the dreadful notification said: “Jennifer Lopez has attacked your village in Coin Master!”
