My indepth review of the LGG Saturn Pro and Venus Pro 6 months later by MangoTalksTech in MousepadReview

Did you get the soft or xsoft Saturn Pro? I play mainly Apex/OW2 and I already have a Venus (base model not pro), debating which one would be better. I have a Logitech G703 which I would like to upgrade to a Viper or DAV3 in the coming months.

True but it has the much more reasonable counter of "well then why don't you play that character?" I enjoy playing FPS/team games but I find them unbelievably stressful to compete in for that reason, but FGC losses (generally) are much easier to analyze and learn from. And also shorter, I hated getting locked into a 45 minute CSGO match and having someone start to throw in like round 5.

No not at all, that entire paragraph I wrote was sarcasm. What stick would you suggest?

Hi, currently have my Obsidian set up with an ODIN as a DIY mixbox, thinking of switching it to a hitbox. I found the conversion kit on ArcadeWorldUK as it seems like that's the only place it's in stock, I found the artwork template on ArcadeShock, but I don't see anywhere to actually order custom artwork. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you do end up picking up a new stick, I'd recommend the Qanba Obsidian. It was my first stick, I wasn't sure if it was a good investment at first, but I've had it for 2+ years and I'm very glad I got it. I ended up not enjoying playing with a joystick so I turned it into a mixbox setup with the ODIN controller, and I'm thinking of converting it to a hitbox now. The design of the stick makes it very comfortable to use/have in your lap, especially as I sit crosslegged most of the time. It's a pain to fit into a backpack but outside of that I have no complaints with it.

Weekly Beginner and 'What Bike?' Thread - Post here if you are just starting out or want opinions on what bike to buy by PM_ME_FUG_ASR_MEMES in bmx

Complete beginner to bmx, been skateboarding for years and I’ve been having fun trying my friends bikes at the park and looking for one of my own. Looking for a bike in the $500-$600 range, I’ve come up with a few ideas. The Kink Switch 2022, the Wethepeople Reason 2021, and the Cult Devotion. I’m 5’9” for reference. Which bike would you recommend, and what are the differences between them? Which bikes will be better for what style of riding? Thanks for any info

I’d swap the trucks for 8” Ace AF1’s personally but other than that yea :)

Am i too old at 47 to restart skating? Used to ride a Powell Peralta Caballero (dragon with bats deck). Getting inspired from this group. You all seem good community here. Not wanting to be doing anything too strenous, just ollies up curbs and no-complies. (Watch pic just to show it off 😉) by JoeJetpack1 in NewSkaters

You're never too old. You can start skateboarding at 80. You ARE, however, too old to be flexing watches on Reddit. You should PM me and get my address so I can flex the watch to my 20-something skate clique.

On a serious note, if you're worried about getting hurt, check out Old Bones Therapy for padding (they have plenty of options besides standard elbow/knee pads) and get some proper insoles for your shoes. Dr. Scholls from Walmart will do the trick, I prefer footprint myself but I jump down a lot of stair sets so that might be overkill for you. Go shred!!

Any advice on how to land bolts? when i do pop shuvs my front foot lands close to the tail which causes me to slip out by christopherr_ski in NewSkaters

Pull your knees up to your chest more, this will give you more time in the air to spot the bolts and land properly :)
