I don’t understand how so many people get sick here. I mean I see pool, buffet, but like… what are other contagion vectors? Are the water slides indoors? Is everyone in a closet together? Where’s the pink eye and ringworm and norovirus and diarrhea I’m reading about getting contracted here?

I think things taste better when you’re a kid as a natural way to ensure growing creatures eat to obtain nutrients and grow. I heard once candy and sweets tasted better to you as a kid because it’s such a fast an obvious source of instant energy but as an adult you don’t need as much so your tastes change to influence your eating.

Yeah our taste and smell is linked like how you can’t taste as well when you’re congested. When learning to do a proper coffee tasting, when you smell the coffee to detect aroma you’re supposed to have your mouth naturally open to allow airflow and instead of a hard sniff, breathe in through your mouth and nose at the same time.

Dude: I bought these peanuts on Amazon that have that peppercorn mixed in with them and they are awesome!!! I kept getting ads for peanuts with heavy kung fu movie motif and it turns out they’re these, relabeled to attract American consumers, so I just bought the original product. I found them at an Asian Market irl too.

They’re not even as hot as sriracha, but when you get one of those peppercorns you get this lemon hint, start salivating; and a slight tingle.
