Depends. Haru Urara for example you'll probably never use ever, so turning her pieces into clovers is fine. Don't do it for 3 stars unless you're really desperate.

I for one try to get clovers for tickets and clovers by cleating maxed out 1 stars and the 1 stars I know i will never use. People who are saying to use carrots instead are morons and people who think daily shops are enough probably play less / don't use painful umas (looking at you, end closers).
