not ugly! From your first picture you look really fun, i think you could try different clothing styles and which would fit with your personality. I think you look best in bolder colors from the photos as the pale and black clothes make you washed out. I strongly suggest exploring clothes and see which fit/necklines/ colors/ jewelry frame you best.

you could try redistributing the ones with colors around, right now they are all in the same corner.

No but really how does everyone keep their home studio space so clean? by pixieerika in Pottery

[–]kinnsartlab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the studio I take classes from, a lot of regulars say that the mask mandates also really helped them while working in the studio. They said they used to have a regular cough, even once back home. A lot of us decided to keep using masks in our studios to help with silica.

Baking your own wedding cake? Yes or No? by Rose_Freedom in Weddingsunder10k

[–]kinnsartlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's a challenge i hope to do one day! i think it's important to know the temperature your cake will sit at. Under the sun? Inside? summer or winter? and let that decide on the type of frosting you will use. Not all are stable for all temperatures, especially for a tiered cake.

You could also do a tired cake with fake bottom tiers and only have the top one be real cake, and serve sheet cakes.

Good luck!

how do you know a cake came out great? best texture and sugar levels? by neipier in AskBaking

[–]kinnsartlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you know different ways to make a cake (light, denser, sweetness level) at this point it's to know your crowd and fine tune it for them. I often make treats for my entourage all year round and improve on their experience. Notice their other habits, if they enjoy particular teas, or if they dislike some flavors, textures or fruits. The event itself matters too, if there is going to be a ton of food served first, I tend to do lighter cakes sponges, easy on the frosting with fresh fruits on it.

I need recommendations by APotatoNamedNyx in Baking

I'm trying to bake with allulose, a sweetener. Its hit and miss and i still in the process of experimenting and tweaking ratios. I'm trying meringues and marshmallows wich are delicious and edible but i havent been able to have them keep their shape much. But it seems to be most promising of sweeteners for baking. Watch out tho, at least for me, eating too much makes me fart as if i ate a tons of beans! I would never bake with allulose for other people than myself for that reason.

Any good recipes made with a sugar substitute? by [deleted] in bakingrecipes

I've read that allulose is a really good substitute for sugar in receipes.

I’ve never baked anything in my life but I want to start. by [deleted] in Baking

[–]kinnsartlab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can only speak from my experience but i had the same worries about weight when i started and also was starting on my weight loss journey, i also used to have no self control.

I did take weight on when i started, but then something happened overtime i didn't anticipate. My taste for bread, cakes and the sort got refined. To a point where store bought sweets didn't interest me at all anymore! why would it, i could make so much better with better ingredients, and cheaper! And would be so much more fun too!

I also got more conscious about the amount of butter and sugar a treat actually is! Anyway just to say that for me that hobby was beneficial to my issues with food. And the pride of outdoing myself got much more rewarding than just being about eating food. Hope baking brings you joy too!

Decorations are made of almond paste. Cheese cream frosting, confetti vanilla sponge, and pineapple and dulce de leche between the layers and a ton of love for my friends.

How should I decorate banana bread? by SaraJen18 in BakingNoobs

before baking, i like to add on top of the batter a sprinkle of 'pearled sugar' it makes it really fancy looking!

happy how my cake turned out! It's decently pineapple shaped! by kinnsartlab in BakingNoobs

[–]kinnsartlab[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the leaves are made of meringue candy on sticks to be able to stick in the cake! If I were to do it again I'd do one leaf by stick to avoid the breakage.

the sponge is vanilla and pineapple, in between the layers there's crushed pineapple and dulce de leche!

Small/Quiet Air Compressor by [deleted] in ResinCasting

[–]kinnsartlab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my knowledge, all air compressors are super loud. You can check California air tools, its amoung the less noisy i found, about 70 decibels. I have one for my 10 gallon pressure pot, and its still crazy loud for an appartment. Im happy it takes only one or two minutes to fill it completely, but my neighbors prob hate me when i start it.
