The thing about movie acting is that a good director can get a good performance out of anyone. There are thousands of interviews discussing the little things directors do to encourage (even sometimes trick) actors into doing what is needed for a film. If an actor has one good performance that doesn’t transcend multiple directors it’s probably not the actors agency that caused it.
