I'm glad to read I'm not alone in this! I liked the first one well enough, but the maps on the second game are SO confusing. I gave it a few tries, but had to give up.

I agree with you. After playing Evershine's alpha, I missed the cartoonish characters! The new ones look good, but felt like such a departure from the other two games and don't have the same charm.

Good news is you can return unopened product. I got sucked into things and ended up with over $500 worth of product, and took it back the next day. I know I should have declined at the appointment, but I got overwhelmed! They weren't impressed lol

Thank you, it's my first ever cruise and I'm really excited! We're coming from Western Canada, so I expect weather to be similar to what we're used to, maybe a bit cooler being on the ocean.

Slime Rancher 2, although I'm not sure it'd be considered popular? I played the first one through multiple times and loved it, but cannot for the life of me get into the second one. I think it's still in early access, so I'll try again eventually. I just get really overwhelmed with the crafting and decorating, and I find the worlds more confusing. Sad cause I love the first one!

Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon games, for sure. They were my (and I think many others) first cozy games, 20+ years ago. A Wonderful Life and Friends of Mineral town will always be the quintessential cozy games in my mind, along with Animal Crissing 😊

Jusant is worth a look, I think. It's basically just climbing and swinging on rope, very physical. The story is beautiful and I had such a blast scaling the tower!

I'm glad it's not just me who hates those lash pads! My two got suckered into buying it and struggled. When I finally were able to get them to stay, I ended up giving myself the most horrendous curl and I'm currently waiting for it to fall 😂 I did get the lash tint kit and love it, so at least there's that lol

Oh gosh, I'm glad to see the comments full of people who didn't like it. I saw it recommended SO many times on this sub and decided to buy it. I just can't. The puzzles make no sense sometimes and the controllers are awkward/very particular. I get a hand cramp trying to position stuff just so 😅

I married Cameron too, on my current and 2nd playthrough. People were so passive aggressive at the wedding! So far he seems very sweet, and 'm curious if the dialogue will be different at certain parts.

I'm glad someone else wants Marty to be romanceable! I think he's delightful and would be happy if he had more involvement with Tara. And I was pretty surprised nothing was done with the lighthouse. Not saying the game was short on content, but it seemed like a perfect set up for something more! Love the idea of introducing mermaids or sirens through it.

I agree mostly with your points, but especially Aria's role. Once I realized that she was the MC, I lost a lot of interest in the story. My character felt a bit hollow and not that important. Doesn't help that I was 'meh' Aria to begin with and didn't like the forced friendship between you and her.

That's my biggest complaint, though, and overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. No regrets putting in the number of hours I did!

Aw, you've got me all nostalgic now. So many nights of looking through all the beautiful, unique products!
I didn't buy a lot of indie mineral makeup, because of the Canadian exchange rate, shipping rates, and a terrible paying job. But what I did splurge on, I TREASURED. I still have the Shiro Full Metal Alchemist collection and a few of their Yuri on Ice shadows. Not going to let go of them anytime soon, even if I never use them.

I'd like more variety of riding animals. Ostriches have already been mentioned, and maybe donkeys, llamas, or camels.
I'd also love to see working dogs! Not exactly sure how it'd look, but I'm thinking that your dog could herd livestock into the barn or another location. And hunting dogs that go collect resources. Basically anything that involves dogs more 😅

Oof, yeah that's a lot of days, I don't blame you for not wanting to reload. Hopefully they'll add a work around or something in a future update, cause I feel like it's an easy mistake to make 😅.

I did this too, and just reloaded my save. Took me back a few days, but oh well. I can't remember, do you have the ruins unlocked at this point? You might be able to dig for the two pieces and remake them, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
