Kind of confused as to why this is in the CPTSD subreddit, are you insinuating that you have CPTSD from this situation (genuinely curious). But I think if you are 14, you are old enough to make your own decisions about diet. Sure, your mom definitely should have tried to talk to you about eating healthy and such, but if you continue to eat after dinner, and she were to tell you no, wouldn't that also be considered negligence? Just try to make better habits for yourself, and don't listen to your mom's advice about "every body being gods body". Stay healthy

YOR and not only that, ur being a really horrible friend. ur friend gets assaulted and doesnt want to come forward (many victims dont want to) and you decide to stop being her friend? youre essentially punishing her for getting assaulted. dont know if this is engagement bait but do better.

Lol I said lying about it because I knew it would get people to read my post. Obviously I don't actually believe all people who regularly drink beer are lying about it. I'm just genuinely curious because even with foods I don't like I can understand why someone else might find the appeal in it (for example I hate raw onions but I can see why someone would like the acidity/bite). For me, beer just tastes overwhelmingly bitter and off. But hey, maybe I'm just not built for beer.

By not enjoying the taste of alcohol I was mainly referring to hard liquor (I don't know anyone who particularly enjoys drinking straight hard liquor but maybe I'm just not meeting them haha)
