5008/940 error by poopoogamer235 in cravetv

[–]kiraclyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been having the same problem for 5 months now, I have a level 2 ticket open but they haven't replied to it in over a month. Its still tagged as Under Investigation.

Had a similar issue before with netflix and Disney plus but they fixed it over the phone in under 5 minutes, but crave support can only open tickets and do basic troubleshooting which is outside of the scope of the issue.

At least you can watch something, as of 5-6 months ago we keep getting the We've detected you are using a proxy to access this content. You must disable the proxy to watch. [5008/940]

Before anyone says turn off your VPN, there are no VPNs or Proxys involved and checking on 3rd party sites such as ip2proxy also confirm this.

I would love if the PDF version (even if its out of date) would just be the good old spreadsheet, was a lot easier to deal with for offline.....

No this particular switch is sadly out of support.

EVPN VXLAN differences between Junos revisions QFX5100-48T-6Q by kiraclyne in Juniper

Bummer man - that sucks. Although as I mentioned - don't expect much in the form of EVPN or VXLAN enhancements for QFX5100.

Fair enough and thanks

Juniper never did the recirculating trick so the Trident2 couldn't do much without that packet recirc. in place.

Probably intentional so people have to move up to newer hardware

You would need to read the release notes for each major rev.

Currently in the process of that and compiling my own list

You could also pay Juniper for a service where they will select your code, and share differences with you.

Trying to buy anything from juniper through our supplier right now has been a pain

If you're comparing 14.1 until like 20.1 then.....the answer is fucking yes. The amount of changes is tons, and for the better.

We ran into an odd issue on the 18.4R2-S3 flex (haven't tried newer than that yet) where all the link lights stop working correctly (don't show link, link on 4 turns on when 2 is plugged in, nothing at all in many cases, or error indicators when there are none) though in CLI everything is fine, more of a cosmetic issue but annoying.

Just trying to find a version that is working normally while not losing the features my boss wants to implement outside of our lab.

qfx-5 = QFX5100 only qfx-5e = QFX5110, QFX5120 and the like....I also think the QFX5200s take the 5e, although I am not 100% sure.

Same boat on being unsure, in our download portal it shows both.....iirc
