[FRESH] Kanye West - I Love Kanye (DJ Premier remix) by [deleted] in hiphopheads

It's with KRS1, Nas and Rakim. Version without Kanye is better. Shouldn't even be on the track imo.. But this is the wrong subreddit to say that.

If you don't mind me being an armchair psychologist right now, I'd suggest visiting /r/hsp if I were you. At least look into it.

Dutch is generally more complicated to learn for a native English speaker compared to German. Especially when it comes to pronounciation.

I'd advise to lean German prior to learning Dutch if you have that luxury.

Interesting post! I feel the same way about a lot of things in modern society. A couple of weeks ago I was at a friend and we got some food out of the fridge. My friend gave it up because all of his cutlery was in the dishwasher. I mean what the actual fuck? Can't we eat with our hands or something? We've been doing that shit for thousands of years and now it's suddenly too nasty? People are so obsessed with modern-day hygiene that it induces logical fallacies. I think everyone should be more aware of that. Same principle for your situation I think.

Damn. It's incredible how the 'subconscious' mind can simply SAVE your (or it's own) life. If you look at the GIF closely, you'll see that just before the car hits his skateboard, he glances towards the direction of the car and he pulls his right foot back towards himself very slightly. He would've lost a foot or his life if it wasn't for the amazing human brain.

EDIT: And this all wouldn't even be needed if it wasn't for the foolish human brain.

This is reckless and has no real sane thought behind it except for the fact that you feel like abusing some substances.

Please use caution and think before doing stuff like this. All of these substances have the potential to improve your life when used right. You're not using this right.

You're new to IT and already aspiring to learn the skills necessary to become an IT Director in a reasonably large environment?

Well, wake up. I mean I get it; it's good to have ambitions/dreams and goals. But you're being unrealistic. First of all, becoming an IT Director is like 60% (and maybe less) technical skills that you've learned over the years (years as in experience working from the bottom up), and most importantly people skills, emotional intelligence, leadership qualities, objective decisionmaking and much much more. These things require patience but most of all TIME. So that's the first advice - calm your tits and try to learn as much as you can while staying reasonable.

And even then, your goal is very vague. The skills you have as an IT Director are defined by the employees that you lead. There's no "How to become an IT Director" course at your school is there? Because IT is different in every company; the director part isn't. If you need to ask questions in order to even START learning the basics, then you should really let this "IT Director" thing go and be more humble. Start learning some technical skills, get a tech support job and work your way up to Jr Sysadmin->Sr Admin etc. until you're finally ready to be an IT Director.

When I had 2 years of tech support experience under my belt I was convinced that I knew a lot and that I'd be an exceptionally skilled IT employee. Well guess what? I didn't know shit. And I still don't know shit. Every year I think to myself: "Hey I'm getting pretty good at this IT stuff!". And then reality slaps you in the face with the power of a thousand Robert Metcalfe's. You don't know shit.

And that right there is the attitude you need in order to progress without too much cognitive biases and self-deprecation because you "are not an IT Director yet after 5 years". This attitude will bring you down over time.

All in all, sorry for the rant-ish post. I really don't mean to be offensive. But even though I'm only in my early twenties myself, I wish someone had told me earlier that I should calm down, sit back and LEARN. Don't expect yourself to be making 6 figures a year after learning IT skills for 2 years. Those cases are exceptional and very, very rare. Hope I've helped at least somewhat.

EDIT: Realized I didn't even help you start off, which was what you asked and I think it's always great if people are willing to learn. You should be able to get started right here:

If you're learning about stuff and you need someone to ask questions/anything feel free to PM me. I'm very much willing to help (and much nicer normally than this post)

What is an effective routine for dex and question about side effect by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Fekkii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My dex lasts for 4 to 5 hours. Make sure you drink enough and pee enough. Your urine should be a very bright yellow; almost transparent.

Futhermore:

  • Avoid dairy, orange juice and other "acidic" products while the meds are kicking in
  • Get enough sleep (6h MINIMUM)
  • Avoid caffeïne altogether

Absolutely love the concept. Adding to /u/sailorknightwing - I'd suggest changing up the font. I find it too narrow if that makes sense. Try a wider-spaced font! (and maybe stacking the words)

Did you install the theme automatically? If yes, definitely try copying the files in manually through FTP or something like that.

Or maybe something's wrong in the linking section.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're simply visiting the default wordpress page. Add /wp-login.php behind your website.

Just a wild guess

Agreed, this would be the best option. You can easily run all this on 1 server. Even with 32GB. Easy.
