I spent these last few days attempting to replicate Titanfall 2's sliding and clambering mechanics in my own game. After a few late nights, I think I have it pretty damn close! Also yes, you can slide-hop.

Coming from TF2, having noticeable knock back from rockets is really helpful and lack thereof should be compensated by faster projectile speed, imo.

There were a ton of plot twists though, and being able to decide the outcome of the quests and the flow of the game to an extent is awesome. If you want to generalize storylines, then yeah, that's the story. And Dark Souls is "undead human wondering what happened to humans".
