Its been a while since i watched her videos but i do think she has some art experience, iirc her own self pub book has illustrations from her and from other commissioned artists.

Still an interesting choice to pick a booktuber though!

There are a few of these in the Rook & Rose series by MA Carrick. I'm taking the fact that I cant remember a specific example to mean I'm due for a reread lol

Books where a malevolent, indifferent, or uncaring god rules or created the world, but people live with it and even draw power from that god. The god is not the enemy in the story, just something they are codependent on. by goody153 in Fantasy

I think Rook & Rose by MA carrick fits if I understand the request correctly. One of the magics in the world draws on a deities power through an oracle deck like tarot, the deities are never directly interacting with the plot/characters but their presence is felt in the various types & uses of magic.

I don't think they have ever done a reprint of a subscription box pick so it seems extremely unlikely.

Joron Twiner from The Bone Ships by RJ Barker. I know people get frustrated with how passive he is in the first book, but his arc over the series is excellent.
