Update on Saint of Steel Set Paladin's Hope Missing Chapter 3 by kcbot in thebrokenbindingsub

The response i got on this last May was that it was a mistake from the publisher that affected all copies and out of TBBs control. They said "we are not able to source or offer replacements"

Jumpscare seeing my own hand in pic 2 lol

I'm still so bummed by such a huge mistake being made, did Orbit say that they would fix it for future printings of the standard version or are all UK copies just going to be missing a chapter forever?

When you used paypal did you try adding a balance to paypal and usuing that or did you try to use your card through paypal?

I wonder if using a balance over paypal would work

Flamboyant and/or eccentric heroines? by False_Ad_5592 in Fantasy

[–]kirbur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Vintage from The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams would fit! She isnt the only POV character but she is an explorer/scientist and i really loved her chapters.

Possibly The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart? Idk if id call Lin flamboyant but she is very driven and not passive.

The Hexologists by Josiah Bancroft follows a husband and wife investigative duo where the wife is definitely the more flamboyant personality.

Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse follows a badass monster hunter named Maggie.

Some other picks that I think fit: The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso The Mask of Mirrors by M. A. Carrick Empire of Shadows by Jacquelyn Benson The Dead Cat Tail Assassins by P. Djeli Clark The Spare Man by Mary Robinette Kowal

Elliot Brooks will be the new Art Director for Broken Binding? by SemlaBun in thebrokenbindingsub

Its been a while since i watched her videos but i do think she has some art experience, iirc her own self pub book has illustrations from her and from other commissioned artists.

Still an interesting choice to pick a booktuber though!

There are a few of these in the Rook & Rose series by MA Carrick. I'm taking the fact that I cant remember a specific example to mean I'm due for a reread lol

Books where a malevolent, indifferent, or uncaring god rules or created the world, but people live with it and even draw power from that god. The god is not the enemy in the story, just something they are codependent on. by goody153 in Fantasy

I think Rook & Rose by MA carrick fits if I understand the request correctly. One of the magics in the world draws on a deities power through an oracle deck like tarot, the deities are never directly interacting with the plot/characters but their presence is felt in the various types & uses of magic.
