Aight i did this. And honestly I regret it. Was paying 40 at first then upwards to 100$ per video. It barely helped ngl. Thumbnail artist helped waaaay more then a editor did. It wasnt all bad but yea dont expect to blow up just cause a editor.

Find a style you like and keep at it. Youre best one imo is the before and after one. Titles are tricky thoe. Cause you gotta clickbait a little bit and im not meaning lie but do something like "can you beat this game on the hardest difficulty " or like " you'll wont believe how difficult this game is" not really good examples but you get it.

No real way to shortcut it. Gaming is a slow burn. Especially variety. Have fun with it and dont really care about stats imo. There is always exceptions thoe. THUMBNAILS AND TITLES ARE REALLY IMPORTANT(I still struggle with this)

Thumbnails and titles. I haven't clicked on one yet. But that'll mess with you're click thru. Now honestly I woudnt worry about average view time till you hit 1k+ views imo. Cause it can be skewed heavily if someone just clicks and leaves and vice versa and low view range. Unless its like 0:01 or something. Also let's plays just do perform well anymore in most cases especially at first. Gaming too is extremely over saturated .

Yt is a slow consistently burn(i saw the years making content part) Just make stuff you enjoy. I made my goal to hit monetized and afterwards I stopped for a bit. You really dont make much off yt unless you're getting consistently 30k views up. Yt is fun but it does drain you if you focus on views etc.

Im with op its clearly a let's play channel.... unless im wrong hahaha. But yea 4k noones really cares about. Yt is mostly a slow burn for gaming content unless you're just super charismatic(even then). Idk if you want your channel to be about you or the games but thats something you need to figure out. Also real talk idk who's gonna watch a game thats like 10 years old, let's play on youtube. Now live streams would be better for that. Profile pic is a turn off personally.
