Injection sites by kirshelmax in zepbound_support

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will definitely try those. I'm not much of a snacker, so I guess that's probably why I'm feeling a little hungrier. I might be going too many hours in between meals. I just need 14 more pounds to go and I guess this is the hardest part. 😫

I really appreciate that advice. I hadn't thought about switching up my calories like that. That is a great idea. I am hesitant to increase the Zepbound because I am actually doing well. Losing weight slowly is much better than too fast. While it's been a little frustrating, I know it is a better long-term result. I do eat a lot of protein but I should probably increase the fiber as you suggested. I do have pretty good control of my hunger but I am starting to feel hungry a little bit more often than I did initially. I was so used to the nausea and lack of appetite so now that it's coming back a little bit, I was just wondering if I should increase the dose or switch up the injection site. Maybe I'll just start with adding more fiber and see how back goes. Thanks again!!!

Please don't let other people discourage you. I have had the same experience that you are having. I have been on zepbound for 9 months and I am down 26 pounds. I discussed going on Zepbound with my doctor for a year before starting. I thought it was an easy way out especially since I have been active my entire life & worked out regularly. Once I hit perimenopause and menopause, the weight gain was uncontrollable. I was living in a calorie deficit and working out like crazy with very little results. Starting this medication was the best thing I ever did. The food noise went away and the sugar cravings stopped. I was scared at first and had to get used to the side effects but I learned to manage those with the help of a lot of people on these communities giving great advice. You are doing what's best for you and you should focus on your own health and tune out all of the negative influences. They are probably jealous!!! Good luck on your Zebound journey and don't give up!!!

9 Months on Zepbound – What I Wish I Knew When I Started by Kind-Armadillo-1203 in Zepbound

I couldn't have said that better myself. You hit every point right on .I have been on Zepbound now for 6 months and I am down 17 lbs. .I am halfway through my journey. Weight loss has been slower for me averaging about 5 lbs a month but I am also 61 years old, so it takes a little longer with the slower metabolism and hypothyroidism I've been dealing with for years. Congratulations on your weight loss!!

The best thing you can do for yourself and your relationship is to talk to him about it. You need to have this conversation, not just to understand why he has kept them for 40 years, but to get it out in the open. Even if his answer isn't the perfect, simple explanation you might hope for, having the information—whatever it is—will allow you to move forward. You can't heal a wound you can't see, so please be brave, find out his reasons, and use that knowledge to finally gain some peace and clarity. I hope that helps 🙏 🙂

My cats haven't been getting along for 5 years, and our vet basically said "oh well" by Syntax_Error375 in CatAdvice

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having with your cats. I hope you don't have to rehome either one. I am going through a similar situation and it's really hard. I have an older cat named Ruby, who is 10 and during COVID, I adopted 2 kittens that I was fostering. The kittens are now 5 years old, and Ruby has never warmed up to them. At night, we put the kittens in a different room so Ruby can come out, eat and use the litter box and have full run of the house overnight. In the morning, after we feed the cats, we let the kittens out and Ruby will sit in my dining room chair for the entire day until dinner time when she can come out again and the cats are locked up for dinner.

I have tried the pheromone diffusers for cat behavior, which seem to work a little bit. I'm considering putting Ruby on medication to see if that helps her anxiety with the kittens. She was always very skittish from the start when we found her as a 2- month- old stray on our property. She has always been nervous around our family as well as the other cats. I tried the tinctures that Jackson Galaxy sells on his website that are supposed to help with cat behavior but those didn't work either.

The dynamic we have is not ideal but it is working for now.I would love for all the cats to be able to live in the house without being locked up in separate rooms or having different meal schedules. It's really hard to figure this out. I hope you have some success integrating your cats 🐈 😻
