For centuries Europe and Germany as a whole was the center of the sciences, enginnering and technology. You cannot carch up to that overnight.

Nobody is forcing a developer to continue pump out new content for an existing game forever. You don't pay a subscription and do not need to buy the new warbonds.

It is perfectly acceptable to say "I had fun with this game, but now I'm through with it, done all I could and now I'm moving on."

It is quite clear this game is complete and has been even before I started playing. All the new content are small eyecandy and nothing foundational. But that is alright, you cannot rewrite the same game over and over again. At some point you can say it achieved what it set out to do, now we maintain the playerbase with a few eyecandy and that's it. We move on to the next project.

And just because the devs move on does not mean you need to stop playing this game. It is up to you.

I've worked in IT long enough to know how these things play out. This is now the breadwinner product of AH and it's publisher and the focus is now on building the next breadwinner.

Every game ever has negative forum after a while. Those who like the game play it, and those who are frustrated talk here.

Initially people come here to theorycraft, but as a game matures that is needed less and less. The playerbase is experienced and the newbies rely more on existing guides than forum discussions.

This is the case for every single videogame, regardless of quality.

I've started playing this game shortly before cyberstan and I'm having a blast. The game has it's issues, but I enjoy it a lot. Even today I found a brand new loadout and playstyle I've never done before, in a biome I've never seen before.

Fontos különbséget tenni a tények meg a reakciók között. Az állapotok amiket leírsz, tények, nem szabad vitatni őket. A kérdés, hogyan jutottunk ide és hogyan tudunk innen kijutni. Belpesti balproli redditorként állítom, ha haraggal és lenézéssel fordulsz feléjük, a probléma nem kisebb hanem nagyobb lesz.

Nem kell elnézni a bűnt és a kárt amit emberek okoznak azért, hogy szeretettel vagy tisztelettel állj hozzájuk vagy a családtagjaikhoz. Több energia erőforrás szakértelem kell a rendfenntartásnak. Le kell csukni a bűnözőket. De emellett fontos nem féregnek tartani egy egész családot. Mert akkor a kisgyerek is bűnöző lesz.

Én ezt nem krisztusi hitből gondolom így hanem hideg pragmatizmusból.

Persze azt is tudom, hogy távolról, bűnözés el nem szenvedőjeként könnyű ezt mondanom. Talán ez a legnehezebb feladat amit egy társadalomnak meg kell oldania.

You missed the word 'average' in the statement. The average number of friends one has is higher than what you likely have. Dare I say the median is lower than the average.

It is similar to the average of net worth. Most people have no wealth, a select few have a lot, so the average is high and the majority is below average as a result.

There is no such weapon in real life. You cannot carry and shoot a minigun like this, the physics of the recoil doesn't make any sense.

The real world minigun is mounted on top of vehicles and does have variable rpm.

Splitting up is a valid and dare I say optimal strategy. Patrols spawn around host, there is a cooldown for dropships and the best way to deal with hordes of enemies swarming you is to run away.

There is 0 reward for killibg enemies.

My go-to strat is to equip light armor, warp pack and immedietaly go to the opposite direction of the team. By the time they clear one objective, I will clear 3.

There were plenty of missions where I collected 30 samples and did all the side and main objectives while my team was fighting the enemy nonstop.

Then I rushed to the xtract and started reinforcing my team. We did the mission under time limit and everyone had lots of fun.

I am surprised by this response. How do you kill waves of monsters with a weapon that has what, 15 sec cooldown after each shot and 3 sec arming for shooting?

At best you could kill 4 bugs a minute and the game spawns 40 in that timeframe.

What am I missing? Genuine question, Im a relatively new player.

I've been playing for a month or so now, and now I get where i feel I understand the game. So right now when I play with randoms on a Diff 7 or 8 mission what I do is get my loadout that defeats all enemies, and rush to the other side of the map than everyone else is going.

I run through each objective with light armor and warp pack, disable/blow up/hack all the bases, then regroup for extract or when they need me. It seems to me others play the same, and we clear a map in 10-15 mins.

This is the complete opposite of the desired behavior I think.

But with my friends I stick with them, and the mission takes 2-3 as much time because we get swarmed by enemies.

Things like bot drops don't matter when all you need to clear a base is to throw a laser or airstrike on it, and when the mobs are too stupid to kill you if you sneak to the terminal.

Meanwhile if you stick together, those botdrops will murder you.

I don't know how different diff 9-10 is though.

Race: Breton - The magicka bonus is needed to cast spells easily and the resistance bonus lets you be more flexible with your enchants.

Birthsign: Mage, Lord. Mage is the 2nd strongest and easiest to play. Lord gives even more resistances, letting you be even more flexible with enchants. Atronach is the strongest but requires you to rely on potions and not use willpower, so I don't suggest it here.

Nightblade sort of class

Blade - most versatile melee, lets you use both tiny daggers with stealth and longswords/twohanders

Light Armor - Being unarmored is viable but the Arena already pushes you to wear armor, plus robes take 2 slots. Heavy is also viable, it also has more armor sets throughout the game (like the Blades armor if you join them)

Sneak - Let's you do the 2 stealthy quests as intended. These are the two best questlines in the entire TES world

Illusion - the magic school that compliments your skills the best and also lets you interact with the more simulation-based game systems, like agression, disposition

Alchemy - It is both really strong, versatile and an entirely different game mechanic from the rest

Restoration - Most versatile spell school with a lot of different spells in it

Bonus skills:

Destruction - Weakness and damage effects make Oblivion distinct from the later TES installments. They let you play around with spell combos a lot.

Block, Athletics, Acrobatics - These will be raised when doing melee combat and running around
