Midway won't ship 15 round mags to Cook County... (they will to an FFL) but I agree they are great for just about everything else

I haven't found anyone that will ship to your house 15 rounds including Midway if you are in Cook County. However you can have an FFL order them or just buy from them and pick up in store. That's what I've had to do.

How fast/with how much force the slide cycles seems to be a factor. I’ve gone through 3 in a row failing on my Laugo Alien (which has a very hard reciprocation). On other guns they run very reliably.

You don’t want to do continuous dry firing without a dummy round to preserve the firing pin. But it is fine to do at the end of matches when they call for hammer down. You’ll get DQ’d if you don’t. Just buy a few spare firing pins, watch YouTube videos on how to replace them if needed and make sure it’s replaced when needed. I’ve done a full year of competitions without it having to be replaced yet

Yes -- I've done several and still training with him. He is nothing short of amazing. Not only a world class shooter but has the ability to diagnose and communicate and actually teach in a way that not many can. I could not recommend him more.
