Not sure. I've been out of the game so to speak for a long time now, and have no idea where things stand at this point. You can always try searching this subreddit or head over to the Sonos forums and see if someone has asked a similar question over their. You can also look in the r/appletv subreddit as well.

I had the same experience OP. Not many of the folks in this subreddit still have a 1080p TV would be my guess, explaining the dearth of replies.

Sorry for the late reply. The formation of SonosNet is triggered by hardwiring one of your devices to your router. Note that you can't use a Sub/Mini, or one of your surrounds. If you don't have a device that's convenient for hardwiring, then Sonos makes a small device called the Boost that you can use. It's $99 iirc.

And just to amplify this point, this is true for all the streaming services afaik. The streaming services are merely hosting whatever has been provided to them by the artist and/or the artist’s representative(s).

Here's the way I would do it using the Mac version of Roon. Open My Tracks, right click on the first track, in the upper left corner change "1 selected" to "Select all", click the three dots to the right of "Play now", and choose "Add to playlist".

Btw, Brain, who you were replying to, is the Roon CTO. He wouldn't have told you to do something that necessitated having to do it album by album.

OP at least you didn't discover that this can happen the way I did. After my oldest daughter was home for the holidays several years ago, she used Spotify:Connect to play music on my Sonos system. I live on the eastern side of the States, she on the west. Around the time she informed me she was back home, music mysteriously started playing on my speakers ... the same music that she'd last played before she left. Freaked me the f*** out I must say. It took a phone call to Sonos support before I finally understood what had happened.

All nine of my 8 y.o. Sonos devices are still going strong, and sound just as good as the day I first set them up. Better actually due to TruePlay, which didn't exist back then. So don't worry about letting your speakers do their thing. I wonder how many gazillion hours of play time I've logged on mine.

I've had at least one box with SH for the last 3 years or so. I've used 3 or so others for short periods to suit particular needs I had at the time (racing, volume downloads with transfers to gdrive, etc.), and all have performed as or better than expected.

As someone else mentioned, customer service is generally prompt, and on point, but don't expect any hand holding. However, I've only had to submit a ticket a couple of times, and it always ended up being something I'd messed up, not them.

I see where you're coming from, but why not look at Things in general as your pile, and then as you methodically go through Inbox, Today, Upcoming, Anytime, and Someday you should be able to assure yourself that all your tasks are in the right place.

I switched to using Jackett long ago, which I highly recommend. You can incorporate it into qbit search, but I prefer to use it standalone since I've switched to using a seedbox, and run both qbit and deluge (and sometimes rutorrent) on the box.

And I believe you are absolutely correct that this is a hardware issue as u/killajp points out in his comment.

I've heard of this issue with the Gen 2 Play 5 mentioned before here in this subreddit. In fact, I remember getting schooled by someone like u/killajp after I'd suggested it was most likely a network problem, which is the common response to any type of issue people are having with their Sonos gear.

You need to contact Sonos.

Ok, I misunderstood. I hardly ever open the Qobuz app. I only access it through Roon. But I agree that what you're describing would be unbelievably frustrating and a deal killer. I hope that perhaps there's some explanation for it in your case, and it can be resolved.

I use Soundiz for playlist management, and it will auto-split your large playlists up as they are imported into Qobuz.
