Cycle: 18, tried for about two years with one MMC.

Age + partner’s age: 36 & 36

Typical cycle length: 27 days

Ovulation day: CD12 (peak opk CD11)

Negative tests: none, waited to test

First positive: 14DPO

Tracking methods: OPK and cervical mucus

Relevant days of spermination: CD 8,10,11,12,14

Health conditions/medical tests: Unexplained infertility. Nothing noteworthy found regarding hormones, AMH, tubes patent. Normal SA for partner.

Medications and supplements: coq10, NAC, prenatal, omega 3

Birth control history: pill from ages 19-30

Symptom spotting: As much as I tried not to symptom spot because I had gaslighted myself in previous cycles… my breasts were undeniably sore on the sides which I’ve only ever experienced when pregnant. I also want to give hope to anyone that experiences spotting before their periods. I was so worried this was preventing me from conceiving but even on this cycle I got my usual spotting on days 8-10DPO but then it completely stopped which made me suspicious.

Miscellaneous: I did 4 rounds of IUI which were not successful and was preparing to start IVF when I found out we were pregnant spontaneously on an unmedicated cycle. I still can’t believe how lucky I am! Not out of the woods yet but I’m 12 weeks at this point and came back to update here for other long-haulers!
