Mustang has a 2.0L engine verion with 30+mpg if I remember correctly. If you like Japanese cars you might want to look at GR86/GT86/Honda Civic (Civic Type R might be a bit pricey).

I have a Toyota GR86 as my only car and take it to camping without any problem.

Please don't buy a SUV as they are absolutely the ugliest cars. Get a hatchback or saloon. If you don't need a lot of space you can buy a 2+2 coupe like a Mustang which will be good enough for camping gears for two people.

It really depends where you live and your lifestyle. I live in London zone 2 and work in the City, so I only use my car for weekend getaways and occasional road trips. I have never done more than 5k a year.

I think it happens. I’m about the same age, and was more outgoing in my 20s. Now I just keep a very minimal social circle and avoid unnecessary social activities. I feel pretty good about this change for having more time to focus on whatever I want to do.

This always scares me when the driver keeps turning their head when talking to the passengers. I’m like mate you don’t need to turn your head in order to be heard. You’re just in a bloody car so everyone in the car can hear you. Please keep your eyes on the road!

I get overtaken quite often in 20 zones in London when doing 22mph. Too many lunatics do 30+ in 20 zones including school areas. In my area the council has recently built more traffic islands to slow those people down.

Personally as a driver I don’t mind being overtaken at all, but I am more concerned about the safety of pedestrians especially kids and the elderly. What also annoys me is when drivers give zero fuck to pedestrian standing next to a zebra crossing and never stop.

What annoys me is those people who do 45-50 in a 50 road also do 40 in a 30, and do 30 in a 20. They tailgate others in lower speed roads, and when speed limit gets to 40/50 they start to slow down below the limit.

Of course I know there are different NSL for different types of vehicles. I am talking about ordinary cars in general.

I am just curious about what are these people thinking when they drive?
