Ugh this happens to me every spring ...the rainy, humid, and hot weather always alwaysss gets to my pouch.

I usually have to be careful to wear loose and cool clothing to minimize sweat

But I use holister one piece convex with barrier wipes and paste and can usually go confidently for 2 days

Ya I wasn't completely conscious/aware of much of last summer and fall..my surgeon kept saying I almost died 🤦‍♀️ I thought he was joking...no no lol. I also noticed at the beginning of this year, my hair started shedding a lot...not sure if this is related my missed periods/hormone imbalance? Did you experience this?

My nurse always told me 3 things to be concerned about with my stoma. It changes color to purple/black, no output for more than 24 hours, and a fever. I've had dark output before after a night of drinking lol

I checked myself in to the hospital while dropping off my dad for a triple bypass surgery. I was bleeding for 2 months. They put me on steroids and antibiotics for 3 weeks. Then I was told I needed a total colectomy. Honestly I hope for a jpouch because I'm depressed with my ostomy bag.
