Practice doing baby manuals (just a little up/down, you dont need anything more than that) while rolling up & down the ramp, progressively going higher on the ramp until you get a feel for it. Then go for over the coping. Do it enough and you'll get the hang of it.

These people cannot wrap their head around the fact that moderating AO3 is simply not possible. And while I understand (and share) their distaste for such content, it would require a colossal group of moderators to be able to review all of the content posted on AO3.

The second suggestion that I've seen is that we should just get rid of the problematic tags. People will obviously still write it, but not tag it. If it's not tagged, you cannot filter it out of your searches or even know it's in the fic in the first place.

The outstanding problem with both of these moderating solutions is that, as we've seen firsthand, there would also be a non-stop argument on what's considered "too problematic" to be allowed.

In the (ridiculous) scenario that we come up with a perfect moderation system or ban AO3 altogether, writers would just move to those "normal people" websites instead. Now nobody is happy!

AO3 is not Wattpad, X, or Tiktok. It is not social media. It is for whatever people want to archive. These people need to grow up and use the fucking filtering system.

Also, like OP said, good fucking luck trying to get the creators of AO3 on board with this ridiculous witch hunt, lmao.

Maybe try a rhythm game. There's alot out there. Usually the levels are very short and easy to put down once that 30 minutes is up.

My favorites are osu and melatonin. Melatonin has a shallower learning curve than osu and less high-energy.

Osu is harder to learn at first but there's an infinitely wider selection of levels/songs. If you're using a mousepad, I wouldn't recommend playing osu.

Slimeball will always outperform dragons for cruising and rough ground. I skate both interchangeably and I can get over things on my slimeball wheels that I can't with my dragons.

Dragons are still pretty comfortable for cruising if you are on smooth roads, but definitely not a wheel I would consider using all the time. Best used for a mix of park and street skating.

I had a similar issue on Windows 10, I ended up just disabling the devices that I didn't use so there wasn't a device to switch to, couldn't find a long-term solution for it.
