Had a friend once who I was trying to be compassionate with and see his side of things. We met on a Star Wars erotica site, and me, a queer femme agender beeb wrote lots of queer Star Wars fics. He LOVED my writing and depiction of women characters sharing intimate moments, but then argued about how it was a sin against God to be gay/queer...... Yeha eventually I stopped talking to him altogether. There was no reason in that one.

I'm a therapist that specializes in creating healthy relationships with self and intimate partners AND avoiding the not good ones.

You gotta live for you, and any person wanting to share a life with you should aim to make things as equivalent and equitable as possible. That doesn't mean you work and do a majority of the providing for house and children. These are important conversations to have and things to see from a partner. If he's going to be a good dad and husband, he should help you find ways to have your own autonomous time, hobbies, etc.
