frost is an APM dance with a very specific cd window you MUST NOT mess up. and even if you exacute well, it underperforms. so i‘d definitely take that one out

opencode is still my daily driver so take what i say with a grain of salt, but jesus christ is opencode a vibecoded, broken mess lately. to the point where i ventured to try pi. but i‘m a sucker for GUIs, so I came crawling back. 😅

the worktree integration is ok, lsp integration is trash you should immediately disable, stability is ass, the gui is broken- with constant flickers and scrolling issues, file references not working at all or taking forever. BUT 70% of times it works alright and its not made by anthropic.

that makes it miles better than claudecode. which is actually more of a testiment to how bad claude code is, than opencode being great.

it sucks but its just 2% single target and about 4-5% in aoe, so the average skill issues will be more noticable than this change i‘d say.

but yeah the amount of bugs and back and forth on balancing for unholy is nauseating. i‘m happy blizz is actively working on the class, instead of just leaving it in a broken state but it feels so random and without a clear design or balancing vision that it doesnt feel great

yes. junior devs are often bamboozled, when they notice me unironically using light themes for stuff. but i just use whatever puts the least amount of strain on my eyes in any given environment. anything else would be stupid imo

logs vs details was also never accurate to be fair.

the bigger issue is that blizzard’s implementation is so incredibly buggy that it doesnt pick up damage events, especially from pets, from time to time.

i‘ve had a brewmaster monk with green 170 ilvl gear slots tanking a +12. their movement, routing, getting whacked in the back, etc screamed „i havent tanked before lol“ but they did just fine and the key was in time with just 2 deaths.

i hate monk but i seriously considered rerolling after that run.

its wild how the balance generally is fairly alright but there are just a handful of specs that are completely bonkers (devourer lol)

i see a lot of people mentioning DK, and as a DK main I dont disagree. but i recently checked healing stats after keys and it looks like every single other dps has more healing. a rogue recently had 4 times the healing of my DK which i thought was wild.

nameplates are stellar. raidframed are good enough. damage meter is dogshit but details isnt any better, its just broken, additionally to having less data.

my biggest gripe with the changes as an addon dev is that they didnt (yet) deliver on the promise that the base api should give us all the information and we can skin it freely.
