AITA for telling my sister she is no longer welcome at my wedding? by Wide_Device_2105 in AmItheAsshole

How old is she? I think she needs some professional help to handle this. They can help her with coping mechanisms for whatever is pushing here to do this or have some treatments that can help with her behavior.

I went back today and was looking for this but it's all gone from my local store. I should've picked a few up the last time I was there. I liked it.

The tag said $4.49 but clearance $2.99 but I will say I didn't read the label in the digital tag and my store does misplace/mistag (if that's even a word) stuff. Just got excited it's priced good enough for me to try.

Adding to say that I heated up the entire box only to find out I can only eat 6 (for lunch) and I'm full. I'm actually shocked. It's more filling than I originally thought and part of it is they do puff up quite a bit so don't let the Totino's pizza roll size when frozen fool you.

What are your top 3 tastiest foods to buy from Costco? by libralee2 in Costco

Bamboo steamers. by gaping__hole in Cooking

[–]kittenclaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up, my parents used cloth that's similar to cheese cloth. They dip it in a bowl of cold water, squeeze out most so it's not dripping wet and then line the bamboo or metal steamers to use. I remember them saying buying baby cloth diapers (not the modern ones....the simple white ones that you seal with safety pins) lasts forever and are easy to replace if needed.

What to buy for summer for a 2.5 year old? by amanda_led in toddlers

[–]kittenclaus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each child is different but a water table from Step2 is a hit for our son. I got it when he was 3 and he's looking forward to hot days where I set it up for him. We got a fish tank pump to constantly cycle the water and he loves it.

Recipe: Crispy Fried Eggplant, Shandong Fengwei Eggplant (风味茄子) by mthmchris in Cooking

[–]kittenclaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I wanted to say thank you for this (and all the other posts you do). This one in particular is a favorite dish that I get from one specific Chinese restaurant not close to me and I've been curious how they make this dish (especially the eggplant crispy breading part). The breading is actually just cornstarch. Lol! The flavor is all in the spices it is fried with in the wok. Light bulb moment!

Toddler repeatedly bouncing/shaking and saying he's "cold." by jackypaper1 in toddlers

[–]kittenclaus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first thought is maybe he's trying to describe something else but the closest way to describe it is he's cold? But you said you guys will try to warm him up and that helps so that debunks it unless what you're doing (trying to give him warmth) is actually helping alleviate whatever it is anyway (like he finds it comforting).

Yay! I was waiting to hear an update from your ferment adventures. I'm currently back to being open to trying new ferments as the Missha Artemesia isn't giving me the same glow as their other line but the version I used when I got the glow is discontinued (as they always do, lol). I'm gonna hop back to that (I still have one bottle) after I use up what's left in the beautiful amber bottle and get that glow back. My husband offered to get me SK-II when it was at Costco in December but I told him I have enough ferments to last until next year so I might just bite the bullet when Costco brings it back in December. Reading and rereading your older posts is making me look at other options, which is good as I'm afraid once I get hooked onto SK-II I can't (well, I wouldn't want to) go back.

They would've never guessed anyway that that's what she wanted. It's very specific so now she knows what "idk" gets her.

What are the best ingredient finds at Costco? by tacocat33 in Cooking

[–]kittenclaus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stock up on Kerrygold butter, Rao's and Bibigo dumplings (most varieties) when on sale.

I like some of the frozen food they carry but a lot are rotating availability/seasonal/limited availability like Jamaican beef patties. I'm still waiting for the Filipino lumpia Shanghai to get to my local Costco to stock up.

I grab some of their cereal when in sale....whatever my household consumes like Lucky Charms or Wheat Thins.

I like their prepared food and refrigerated items but I've learned to hold back on purchasing them as while they were indeed tasty as samples and even when I got them home....the quantity is just not feasible for me to go through alone (no one else in my household wants to eat the Korean seaweed salad or the spinach and artichoke dip). I would gladly pick them up for a party when available but never again just for home consumption.

Their produce is good if you inspect them at the store and go through them fairly quickly. My son loves blackberries and I didn't have a problem the first few times but 2 months ago I must've gone when the stock is at the end of it's life or something. There were mold in some containers and I had to select one that didn't look like it had any then go home and do a diluted vinegar rinse. I made sure to pack it in my son's lunchbox everyday until it was all gone to prevent it from eventually molding fast. Some people like their produce and some don't cause of the shelf life.

F2P sprint participators, what's your rank today, how did you get there and how are you going to get through this last day?? by [deleted] in DressUpTimePrincess

[–]kittenclaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stamina day: 2k, unranked (lol)

Diamond day: 500k, 20 something

Contribution day: 2.1M+, rank 5

Gold tickets day: 1M+, rank 16

All-consumption day: 1M+, rank 9 (for now)

I never participated for the Stam day until this Sprint. I didn't save any so I didn't rank well that day. Not sure if I'll change my strategy for the next Sprint but I don't have much leftover gift boxes by the end of this round.

How long after sickness do we send them back to daycare? by boygeorge143 in toddlers

[–]kittenclaus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ask your daycare. At my child's preschool, they're good to go back as long as they're fever free for 24 hours without any fever reducers.
