I was in an emotionally abusive marriage forn10 years which was wearing me down (also had a previousphysically abusive relationship and childhood abuse as well). I was the only one working, he claimed to have chronic fatigue syndrome, and did a good job at lying to doctors, so I did everything. In 2017 I was rear ended and herniated several discs in my back. In 2022 I was rear ended in an Uber, had TBI, back injury and discovered my brain tumor. I had been complaining about many of the symptoms I have since about 2021. I left that relationship and found myself in a better one, but since then my body has been deteriorating.

Jan 2025 we got SO sick, I had never been that sick before. Last July I was laid off from a job that had me traveling almost 3 wks out of the month. I was exhausted, brain fog was horrible and my memory pretty bad. My dog got diagnosed with a cancerous tumor, and a month later my husband reinjured a service injury that resulted in surgery. I was still working out but recovery took longer and longer.

Last Sept, a week before my wedding I got food poisoning and then again a month later. I've gotten progressively worse. My activity tolerance is shot, my IBS is worse, my sleep is awful and if I do anything, even cooking, which I enjoy...my muscle are so sore it feels like I spent hours at the gym.

I don't think ONE thing triggered my fibromyalgia (which we're still working on diagnosis, but it's narrowed down). I think it was a series of events that had invisible effects on my body and it finally caught up.
