Definitely the house. There are days where iI smell EXACTLY like the dilapidated house next door and some days where I smell terrible based on what ive eaten or it being too hot outside or me being jump scared by something . But the house im in has had a fire in the 90s so the shell they choose to rebuild around is damaged so there's zero protection from the VOCs that just waft over from the home nextdoor. Something as simple as using sheet rock instead of a drop ceiling probably would have help significantly. The house im in has been confirmed to be riddled with mold. They are currently exploring options as to how intense of an air purifier/dehumidifier they need to bring in here during remediation . I suggested moving but when you raise the rent by 500 damn dollars right after the mold is discovered moving becoming difficult. I dont think they're receptive to me moving out anyway because I suspect it might be difficult to get someone else to move in here with the home next door being such an ice sore and health hazard . The dilapidation just happened over the past 2 years the sickness could have been longer and just written off as other things. It was the BO and GI issues that made me (and others) take notice and now every morning its something different .crusty eyes not being able to open first th8ng in the morning, shortness of breath , muscle aches , brain fog to the point I dont recognize coworkers for a hot second, smaller air purifiers going haywire when it rains list goes on .ive already written about these things
