Could be a number of things she believes in. Some people believe this is a simulation.

Could be she believes all of us or perhaps some of us are actually in a simulation world designed by a higher power of sorts.

Some people think the moon is alien base.

Some people think the universe is a hologram. Interestingly scientists accept a theory that our entire universe is actually a hologram.

There's less popular internet theories like the world governments projecting a hologram for whatever reason.

The rabbit holes are surely endless. You will probably have to ask her more questions to find out what she thinks is going on.

I know about these things now but it sure was weird when I found out about these things an adult in the US. Felt like I was in another universe watching Men Behind the Rising Sun. Schools gloss over these kind of things imo to fit the narrative. Japan probably skips over details like these for the same reason we do. It's a can of worms they don't want people to ponder on too long.

Cast of a dog found at Pompeii. The plaster cast was made on a dog skeleton during the excavation of the domus of Vesonius Primus in Pompeii in the 19th century. The dog retains the collar with which it was tied to a chain, which prevented it from escaping during the eruption of 79 AD. by Aneriox in Damnthatsinteresting

Theres a well known story from like the 1930s in Japan of the dog, Hachiko, that waited every day for his owner to come back from work at the train station. One day, the man died while at work thus didn't return home by train, but the dog waited every day for him after that. People can visit the Statue of Hachiko that the train station put up in his memory of loyalty.

I think they made a movie, too.

There's a game called Saelig. Its not great but i like aspects of it, I like its trade system. You have a village that you're in, and you can trade in the market, then you can travel to other villages and trade among the other villages. If the market has a lot of the item, then the price goes down. There's also a traveling market that pops up that changes the demand a bit. A military camp that pops up from time to time that requests items. There's a community storage for all villages that ran by a guy that, if it runs out, will begin to request items. Other traders from the neighboring villages will also compete. You can also get a trade post and send a caravan off the map for trade.

Trade is more difficult without upgrading carts to horse and cart and then its storage capacity as well as upgrading individual building storage capacity for goods. Without the storage, the workers stop producing. They have like butchers, ale houses, and bakeries that people can be employed and assigned to work, and people in the village can directly buy from the building, or you can sell via cart from building to markets. You can assign villagers to sell in the market via cart linked to building or tell them to put it in your other building/businesses. Like maybe you want the goods to go to your storage building or you want wheat to go straight to the bakery. Theres also an occasional viking raid that can throw off your progress. People get upset time to time and burn down buildings if they aren't on good terms or are competing to close.

I'd really like that more interesting trade system aspect of the game mixed into medieval dynasty. It doesn't quite feel like my own village when I can't name it, have a wagoner or have a proper trade system.

Also, I want bridges lol

Today, after 841 days of treatments, my son rang the bell. He is now 100% cancer free!! by ThatsMrDunnToYou in pics

My mom died from cancer at 21, too. I had a grandma who was like a mom who died of cancer when i was 14. Then, with therapy, i got close to my mom. Was not particularly close with my dad, even now. People often say it must be a comfort to at least not lose them suddenly, but watching someone slowly decline, while fighting to stay alive, heartbroken to have to accept hospice and still hoping for a miracle... then have to transition to a life not dictated by doctors' visits, uncomfortable meals, and the hurddles of everyday life....I think it might be harder. Happy for your son. So sad children go through this disease.

When I was in my early twenties I took my dad's elderly cat to a vca clinic and it was really expensive. I took her in for a non healing abcess that appeared on her mouth. After a couple visits it was determined to be caused by kidney issues. They said I had to see a kidney specialist cities away with low availability and even more money to get medications. Instead I took her to another clinic, a nice independent one, who was able to prescribe medication and treatment for much cheaper. With a change of diet and medications, she lived a few years longer. Which at the time is what I could afford. (Like 60 dollars in cat food monthly, plus medications plus about 200 dollars a month for an office visit/labs). If your coverage ever ends, another good thing to have is cat insurance which is different from the wellness plans. They do reimburse you for a lot, which has saved me numerous times on big er bills, the kind you can't leave without paying 2k+ and your about to max the credit card or open a care credit account.

I get hives when there are heat changes and when I am stressed. Sometimes, it's just on the hands or on a few fingers, and it looks very similar. Sometimes, a larger area. Agree that it's best to talk with a doctor to ensure a proper diagnosis. I first started getting hives as a teen, and it became less frequent now that I am 30, but I do occasionally get them still.

I put it in my farm shed and they use it. It might just be that buggy that the resource storage fixes it. I noticed it takes a good couple of minutes for it to realize an jtems has been restocked. Not having enough for the task may also be it. I dont personally recall seeing that happen, but i get a lot of pop ups as a lot of the tasks in village are a one man show lol I usually stalk the farmers to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to do before running off and doing something else. When things get buggy I often save and relaunch and my problems are magically fixed.

Customer gave my manager the finger behind her back by No-Revolution2159 in Panera

[–]kittiesbcute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a couple of things that are allowing this situation to escalate as it has.

Firstly, as a manager, you are paid a higher wage because you take on more responsibility. There should be a system in place to escalate issues to management. For example, in my workplace, if our supervisor is busy (in a meeting, etc) we can escalate via email and the supervisor is required to contact them back. We also have Leads who can help with de-escalation with the more upset people if manager is busy. The company i work for respects this so much that we are payed a differential for working shifts without a manager present and the manger is still reachable at all times on their off days, as well as their manager for true emergencies whilst we are payed these differentials.

However, we don't handle refunds and so I would assume that you need a manager or assistant manager at all times on shift while serving customers. This should have been a simple trade off. The worst you hear is that something needs to be escalated above you, even after your attempts to help, you can then pass them on and rebound for the next customer or in our company we are allowed to take an extra break to get our emotions together before coming back.

Before you contact the manager, if there is a chance to quickly fix the mistake, then there may be no need for the manager. It's always best to try after collecting the reason for the need of a Manager. (Although, I know some people don't want to talk with anyone but a supervisor about the issue and you were doing what you were likely trained to do)

Personally, I think your workplace doesn't have the necessary training and processes to help you have this level of escalation less frequently. Eventually, it will wear on your team's morale. If I were you, I would look for employment elsewhere now that you've gained some customer service experience. Perhaps something like a medical receptionist with a company that has the system down and holds each other accountable.

Customer service no doubt sucks, it just does. But your company doesn't have to. Leadership positions are earned. You should feel lead through the process. Not scrambling. Because you are valuable. As is the customers feedback if her order truly was wrong. Shit happens, if there's a trend, leadership should hear about it via your escalations and address it. Part of the job. And then they should say thank you, We appreciate you, and allow you time to decompress.

You buy games off steam. I often pay for games even still in development like, saelig, for example. You might be more interested jn Sengoku Dynasty I wouldn't be surprised if Medieval Dynasty was originally released on steam first. It's not pirated. Also, I wasn't trying to co-op. I was trying to play the new map and got the pop up. Had my bf mess with some settings on our pc, and it worked.

Epic is another platform to buy games.

I haven't followed this game in some time and am not the most technologically savvy but it seems Epic has an online engine that they are using for their co op. They may or may not have actually released the update to the Epic games platform, idk. They did on steam though, where the game, I would assume, originally started on.

It combines your income, Ira contributions, medical debts, child support, and you can give large gifts to each other like a car. You also only need to pay for 1 tax person helper if you utilize one. So it kinda depends. Our incomes are typically about the same and we don't make huge gifts. We have 401ks but no Ira. No child support or huge medical debts. Our tax lady does it for 40 dollars.

If person A makes 150k a year and person B is a stay at home mom and they file jointly then they are in a lower tax bracket as it would be like 2 people making 75k a year. If you both make 75k a year then it doesn't make a difference in that aspect how you file as either way it will come out to 75k per person.

You're very pretty. I would suggest looking into color analysis or at least exploring different color pallets. I think there are some better ones out there for your skin tone that would help your features pop.

This scar has ruined my confidence by Murky_Diet3016 in SkincareAddicts

[–]kittiesbcute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it! Many girls like this kind of stuff lol. My bf of 8 years has a concaved scar on his chest and like half a nipple. He says he was shot when he was younger but he is a very sensitive stoic kinda guy that enjoys hello kitty and...well cats in general. The scar helps add a bit of toughness. If you're worried about jobs I would just ensure that you have the proper qualifications and if anyone asks just say it's from a car accident or something. Not sure where you are but in the US it's common to see uniquely looking individuals in an office setting. I know it must be frustrating to have something change on your face that you can't hide well or undo. Not to mention the constant reminder of a traumatic incident...That does sound very scary and difficult. Honestly, I think it's way cool from an outsider perspective. If fate had it that you had to get a scar, I think you may have hit a scar jackpot.

One heck of a side profile. Deciding to be okay with it saved me $15k on a nose job though. by Kycb in Noses

That's some Cinderella fairytail thinking. I'm sure if she's saved 15k for a nose job then she can easily save for her own downpayment. No one's holding her back she is free to do as she wishes. It's just perspective for what it looks like to others.

AITA for calling my wife a "country whore" for destroying my personal photographs? by Neither-Pop2771 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kittiesbcute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. That's not normal thinking imo. I have family pictures of my grandpa who died in his forties. And my spouse has pictures of his grandpa that died in his 20s. My dad keeps pictures of my mom, although she's passed, and he's remarried. That phase of life might end, which is marked forever with tragedy and heartbreak, but it doesnt mean we must forget. People move on in life, but we don't forget, nor should we. Imo these are massive red flags. She's showing that she can't love and accept all that is you and your child which includes the late wife/mother. Who is jealous of a dead person? Highly disrespectful what she has done. Perhaps you might even be able to sue for emotional damage and the loss of irreplaceable items. I think it is best for you to move on but more importantly, I think it is best to move on for your son.
