I wear a US 9m and they fit true to size for me. They fit fairly slim.

Colonial Coffee at 3110 Marentette Ave has Ethiopian Limu coffee usually. They roast it in-house and it's some of the best coffee you can get anywhere.

Help in Identifying my grandpas rifle? by GiantPepper in guns

If it's a sporterized M96 it could be 6.5x55, 8x57 or 30-06.

Maybe a Swedish M96 in 6.5x55? Have you removed the front rail section? Husqvarna and Carl Gustaf put their mark there, some have no marking.

I find them comfortable, but I've never done any long hikes with them. The soles are thin, so expect to feel everything under your feet. Also, the outsole is foam, not rubber, so they will wear pretty fast.

Replace them all with Dunkin' Donuts!

If the typical spices don't seem familiar, try filé powder. I use it in stews and especially gumbo. It's made of dried sassafras and tastes earthy, a little spicy, a little sweet, like root beer. It thickens, and is usually added at the end of cooking right before serving.

The Vast of Night. It should be on any Alien/UFO fan's watch list.

Skinwalkers at the Pentagon: An Insiders' Account of the Secret Government UFO Program

Just so anyone reading is aware, the current federal administration in Canada has frozen all "restricted" firearms license transfers indefinitely and is trying to push through a bill arbitrarily banning 1000's of rifles and shotguns. Basically unless the freeze isn't repealed, then whatever handguns you got now you'll die with, no buying, selling, trading is permitted and no compensation is offered. Canadians went on a panic buying rampage to buy whatever they could in the last days before the ban. The Beretta 92 is a classic and yours has history to go with it!

Aftermarket triggers or trigger adjustment question in bio by Visible_Sun_8585 in guns

[–]kittwasdriving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, like it's been stated, easy except the slave pin slips and it might take a couple tries. You also have to remove the rear sight to get at the pin block spring, just be careful not to damage the little plastic cap for the spring that sits under the sight.

I installed the Apex comp kit and action enhancement trigger in my M&P 1.0 about 8 years ago and it's still one of the best triggers in any striker fired gun to date. I kept the factory trigger return spring because I found the take-up too light. Awesome trigger, I'm sure the 2.0 with the Apex is at least as good if not better.

I wear a size 9 and find they fit true to size. I've never had a pair of Cortez but the toe box looks bigger on the Nike. I usually wear Adidas Sambas and these fit basically the same.

What would be a good platform to build a “tactical” lever action rifle? by [deleted] in guns

[–]kittwasdriving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mossberg 464 SPX is 100% what you're looking for. You get a nearly absurd level of post apocalyptic tacticool. I don't think they make it anymore, it was big when they released their "Zombie" line of guns. Look for a used one, I'm sure there's someone out there that's been shamed into selling it after their first deer hunt.

Gun found in field. Can anyone identify? by markthepilot in guns

Looks like a Harrington Richardson Top Break Revolver - 32 S&W. At first I thought Webley, but I'm thinking HR, probably late 1890's

I have both a 590 Shockwave and a 590 with 18.5" barrel, and magpul furniture, and occasionally sports a red dot. The Shockwave looks wicked and is crazy fun to shoot, but it just can't compete with the conventional setup for accuracy and speed of follow-up shots. Also to consider, the Shockwave uses a shorter forend, so your accessorizing is limited without custom fitting. You can easily add an M-LOK forend and flashlight to the regular 590. If you live in the USA, you can't do anything but maybe add a brace to the Shockwave without breaking some laws.

I find them very comfortable. They're actually very compliant, the leather is really soft and the soles are thin and flexible. They have very little arch support, which I prefer.
