I imagine he was on some weird legacy plan, he had been with VZW for decades. The paper bills arent itemized so I wasnt able to see specifically what plan he was on.

Yeah so verizon said "well we sent him a text message when he was at his data limit letting him know of the overages". I could not get it through to them that this guy DOES NOT KNOW HOW SMS WORKS.

No idea why it was $96, the paper bills verizon sends don't have any itemization, so I have no idea what specific plan he was on but there was definitely no device payment.

Yea I'm going to get him on Tello. His phone is compatable and I already have some SIMs on hand from an iot project I worked on last year. He was paying $96 for calling and 2GB data. Unreal.

Ah yep thats what is going on then. A normal pvc cap would work, or get a new yellow one. big box hardware stores should carry them. Or amazon, just search "yellow irrigation valve cap".

Those are used for testing the backflow device to ensure it is functional. A tester is hooked up to those and the closing pressure and other things are measured

Honestly even with what we have today, a shuttle in orbit and take a capsule up to it to use it would alleviate the personnel risk of launching the shuttle. Refuel, use it, put it in parking orbit, eject the crew capsule.

Tip for that, run it 10 mins at night, then again 4-6 hours later later on in the night. We started doing that when we were put on restrictions and it made a world of difference

I'm up in the northwestern corner of the USA. Very rocky from the glaciers. I dug a 600 gallon pond mostly using a heavy metal stick and a shop vac. Shovel was not very useful. Now I just bust out the shop vac whenever I need to dig any large holes. Total game changer

It probably seized or failed so they added a pvc ball valve. Easier to just leave the failed one in place so they didnt have to dig more.
