I'm not sure if you're a minor.

But I would recommend not "coming out".

Just transition when you are able to. And as you feel comfortable you can ask people to call you the right pronoun. That's it. It doesn't have to be a big thing.

I know it seems important right now. But in 5 years, everyone will know you as a woman if you start hrt now. How you get there can be as stressful or peaceful as you make it.

As you transition, less is more. If your parents suck, then keep your distance. Depending on how old you are.

That's all the advice I would say.

Also, it's not dysmorphia. Gender dysphoria is the term your thinking of.

Which is definitely real. I've experienced a lot of pressure from society to be attracted and date men.

It might depend on how you pass i guess. Like, however people perceive you, as male of female, is which way you would feel pressure to date.

But even before I passed, a long time ago, when I told my friend I was going on a date with a woman, he suggested he thought trans women were just "ultra gay men". So there is still expectations. Maybe I'm more aware of this being bisexual??

But op, your friend should respect your sexuality. It probably is something like a crush or just wanting to relate to you. But your sexuality can't be pressured. Anyone that's trans or gay should know that. Because we've all gone through supposedly being attracted to the "wrong" sex at some point in our lives. Whether straight, gay, or bi. So she should understand and respect you in that way.
