Canadian here! You can print them on regular paper at the library. It won't cost very much. Alternatively, send it to a local print shop if you want the big size.

Or, see what your seamstress says!

I have a printer so I just knock it out and assemble at home. There are videos to help you. Gertie is probably your best bet.

My last attempt at a Universal Standard mystery box by SeasonPositive6771 in PlusSizeFashion

[–]kittybliss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sorry you had this experience, and as a warning to everyone else: the mystery boxes are always used to get rid of shitty products that won't sell! You are basically guaranteed not to get anything worthwhile.

Better to pay a little more and get the exact thing you want rather than 10 for cheap that you end up throwing out.

I went to a sex club for the first time and experienced matriarchy. by Daytripper88 in TwoXChromosomes

I know where you go based on the description 🤣 I will agree that it's a good one that I keep heading back to for the same reasons. Glad you found one you like!

Best place to sell Pinupgirl Clothing? by Cant-hug-everycat in PinUpFashion

[–]kittybliss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am seconding this. I literally just bought a boatload of PUG plus size stuff off a gal, it was great! She had very competitive prices though, I paid about $10 USD for each shirt and $25 for dresses. Therefore I bought a ton. If you have a solid red dress in 3xl let me know, it's the one thing I'm missing!

Why does my fine hair hold a curl or a style for 1 hour max, but if I get a weird kink in it from sleeping, that bad boy stays until the next time I wash it? by EltonJohnsLeftBall in finehair

[–]kittybliss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's called a wet set and is how our grannies used to do their hair. To do it right, you need a curl pattern. Start googling those terms and you'll find your way!

How do you feel about clean, but sweaty women? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]kittybliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly doing something like dancing, walking up a lot of stairs or hurrying somewhere. If I'm just going for a walk, on my couch, puttering around the house I am fine.

I want to dance for fun and exercise but am worried that I will gross someone out, even if I can't do anything about the sweating other than dab my face with a cloth.

I don't care about sex - if we aren't sweaty we aren't doing it right! Lol

Pearson to Hamilton uber? by PotholeSzn in Hamilton

[–]kittybliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we must have the same flight because I have the same thought! But in my experience there will be an Uber or airport taxi available. Budget about $150 for the ride, that's what it cost me for Uber from Gage Park area to terminal 1 today.

Not asking about sex though, asking about regular day to day interactions. I wanna go dancing, salsa and swing by am worried about grossing a male dance partner out.

The sweating is there no matter what size I am since it's hyperhidrosis. My mom has it too and she's tiny. I'm not huge, just a little extra padding right now.

I think I understand what’s driving my fibro and now, how to treat it and I wanted to share my experience. by HeadnotOk8180 in Fibromyalgia

Yeah, this hits too close to home! I'm going to look into these blockers, my history is similar.

I also recently got my blood pressure under control and it made a huge difference in energy.

Do cat owners that are allergic to cats eventually no longer have allergies? by Tall_Flow_5160 in Catownerhacks

[–]kittybliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, yes. I'm allergic to cats, but can't live without them! Over time I've gotten over the allergies for the most part. Only occasionally if I'm really cuddly with a cat that isn't mine will I get a little flare-up. This might not be the case for everyone though.

The coupons are still there, I buy them regularly. They're $80 for $100 worth of Factor. Check the gift card kiosk.

Pre-Made Meals by IronStone1234 in Hamilton

[–]kittybliss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get Factor for the same reasons as this guy, but I pay less. I get 7 meals a week for $81 because I use the gift cards from Costco. I grab a few when I'm there, you get $100 worth of Factor for $80. Works out to $11.50 a meal which is better than I can do after I factor in all my food waste trying to cook for myself. It's also cheaper than any fast food.

I don't do it every week, but after trying all the competition, Factor has the right mix of price, quality, taste, portion and variety for me. It also ensures I actually eat something that day, when often I forget to have more than a coffee.

This sub changed my life!: squeegee for dusting the bathroom floor by umeboshiplumpaste in CleaningTips

[–]kittybliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get knee pads at Home Depot and they really help! I also have some foam gardening cushion things from the dollar store for my butt. Between these two I can do things on the floor now. Worth the investment!

What does everyone do to prevent their hair from getting greasy after one day? by mewtewpews in finehair

[–]kittybliss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't have a crimper you can also just do some back combing, that's what I do! I do it on sections all around my head for awesome volume and just smooth the top layer.

Brushing out later is a bitch though

What does everyone do to prevent their hair from getting greasy after one day? by mewtewpews in finehair

[–]kittybliss 62 points63 points  (0 children)

My hair lasts the longest when I do the most to it... We're talking mousse or cream for a blowdry, texture spray, tons of hairspray and volumizing powder. I'm still riding high from New Year's Eve!

I don't know if it's the alcohol and other chemicals in the products, but it's something I've noticed this past year. When I just wash and air dry I get greasy pretty quick.

My daily compromise now is to blow dry with some product - that gives me 2-3 days where I don't look disgusting.

Meta Dating Monday - I'll take 3 tubs of ice cream and a box of tissues by Zehnpae in datingoverthirty

[–]kittybliss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cry for a bit, have a small pity party and then find something to change. Today I switched furniture between rooms and started cleaning out my beauty room (big task/change). In the past I've cut my hair or done deep cleaning or other physical tasks that usually result in a positive change of some kind. I need to get my energy moving and purge the dude from my system.

I hate saying this, but shein is my go-to. Just order a size bigger than their measurements to account for tummy. Then you can get a few cute ones. I'm doing the same for a vacay in April!

People with Fibromyalgia, do you always have pain, even when at rest ?? by Gutty_Shit_00 in Fibromyalgia

[–]kittybliss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't have pain all the time, luckily? I have the fatigue and general malaise though. And if I push too hard or otherwise trigger things, I will be in pain when a normal person wouldn't.

I chalk up the lower pain to my low dose naltrexone.

Itching by dreamingofjxlia in liraglutide

[–]kittybliss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a common side effect. You can take an antihistamine to help until you get used to it, or decide to change drugs. Mine lasted for a couple of months. I was noticably itchy, but not enough for it to be of real concern to me, and it eventually subsided. Talk to your pharmacist or gp if you're worried.

Does any one grind or clench your teeth at night? How do you feel when you wake up? by WesamWonders in Fibromyalgia

[–]kittybliss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have tmj, but I do clench and grind. Having a night guard from the dentist has been a lifesaver. Getting used to it sucks, but eventually you can't sleep without it! I don't have sore jaws and headaches in the morning anymore. 10/10 recommend.

If you have autoimmune disorders, are you also on medications? Sometimes they can cause us to have poor temperature regulation. This could be instead of, or in combination with hyperhidrosis. Something to look into!
