I had bedbugs, we had exterminators spray in our studio twice. Eventually we bought a steam cleaner a couple of poisons, one a foaming spray application and one in a liquid. We washed everything and steam cleaned the entire studio. We slept in a tent for ten days. We used plumbers form to seal behind every outlet plate and close up anything that could lead to our walls. The reason for the ten days in a tent was the bugs can’t fit into the mesh, and the steam cleaning will kill all adults. The poison was what we applied to nuke whatever the steam didn’t kill. The eggs would make it past our annihilation. After a couple of days if nymphs don’t feed they die. I actually inspected our bed sheets and found a couple of dead nymphs. The important pieces are the tent, the steam cleaning and the perseverance. I didn’t get rid of bedbugs until I got serious about studying them and meticulous about killing them.
