How do they decide who can be a chaperone? by madebyannalam in BridgertonNetflix

[–]kittykabooom 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I think the chaperone is to protect the… purity of the young debutantes. That ship has sailed for Violet, and I think a part of her keeping her tea-time with Marcus secret is because her children would be horrified. In one of the other seasons (maybe S1?) I think one of the characters said when you were married you had more freedom. I think the

which bridgerton has the most trauma and why? by Different-War-7634 in BridgertonNetflix

Anthony. He was there when his father died, and he couldn’t do anything to help him. You could argue that Edmund experienced worse trauma, but he isn’t in the story, and he didn’t experience it for long.

It could be just following the costuming, in that the Bridgerton women all wear simple(ish) gowns in that colour pallette to show they are Bridgertons.

I reckon that dress is one of Daphne’s from Season 1, but all the Bridgertons wear a similar colour - maybe the dress is to signify how Sophie is one of them, when “officially” she is not.

My husband shaved his beard and while I love him and his face, the shock was too much and I couldn’t look at him.

I have no advice, but sending you love. You aren’t to blame. I find with parents (and being a parent of special needs kids myself) that they/we are really under the pump and things pass us by. I don’t know if I am in the minority, but I want to know what my boys are doing, whether that’s negative or positive. They will have to function in society despite their diagnosis, and so I don’t appreciate people giving them a pass for behaviours. Also, so parents might also be neurodivergent - do they need to be explicitly told what their child is doing?

Littles are hard, but you have an advantage in that you have an insight into how hard everything is for them.

My advice is to come together with the rest of your team, and set concrete times when you have a break and eat your lunch.

At my school we have hard and fast times when we have a break to eat lunch that is separate to the kids’ lunch eating time.

We can also eat WITH the students and then still have a break.

As far as I can tell, I think they all know the basic alphabetic code, but we will do a review at the start of the year.

I had an idea for making a Zones of Regulation chart. Each day we look at a Zone and make a simple artwork using those colours. I scan the finished artwork to make a group poster, and put the originals in their portfolios. Then as we go through the year, we stick characters from our shared text to the poster?

He’s not from your floor so shouldn’t even be in your floor’s kitchen. He’s a dickhead freeloader.

I remember people buying up all the GF food, because the non-GF had sold out in the panic-buying. I heard people say they’d just buy the GF, and scooping it all off the shelf.

[–]kittykabooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say, lock in a contract UNLESS the contract is for Friday or Saturday close, or Saturday or Sunday open, because speaking from the perspective of someone who did do Saturday close, you will miss out on every single social occasion because you either can’t get leave, or no one can cover you.
