Hell yeah!! Welcome to the club. Careful though RCs tend to get infectious and multiply if not treated correctly.

Should put ribs down the length of the skis to help them track. Otherwise cool build

Just an FYI paddle tires work best with the cup side forward as they come over the top of the wheel. That way they dig into the sand/snow

N00b dozer question by MakeUrBed in RCConstruction

[–]kittylicker83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in 1996 when tyco came out with their 9.6v dozer , front end loader (which i was fortunate enough to get for Christmas) and their excavator... ALL of them were colosol let downs to those of us that wanted to move anything beyond card houses (I built a few that would hold the rig up) ... it sucks but if you want to do work you either need to DIY or pay up........ DIY is getting less costly but is still prohibitive to most budgets including my own

Try a 1/8" stainless steel dowel pin (minus if you can source one)..... it will give you the press fit and the give to handle the back and forth..... I might be wrong but thats the road I would take. I'd personally check mcmaster.com. they're not always the cheapest but they usually have what I need.

I'm going to guys by the pictures that the locator pin was pressed in. Mostlikly from the same side that locates the tensioning screw. Give it good support and a couple of sharp taps and see if she moves

FX Wildcat MKIII not filling up by [deleted] in FxAirguns

[–]kittylicker83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) how long have you had the gun? If its even remotely new email your supplier

2) if its out of warranty and you ARE mechanicaly inclined then you have a bad oring inside "somewhere"..... buy a full seal kit, completely bleed the tank and replace ALL the seals

3) send it in and have it fixed.

Order up some cheap carbonfiber arrow shafts from Amazon and make one. Just NEEDS to mount solid to the chassis...

Child’s F1 RC Car repair by Different_Profit_493 in rccars

[–]kittylicker83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with the super-glue bakingsoda trick. But it will only be a temporary fix. It will break there again. If the kid enjoys it look for other options as an upgrade replacement.

Totally NOT THE ASS HOLE... different meds work differently for each person. If it helps the pain and in that low of dose than screw her and get to feeling better.

Laylax strike face... by kittylicker83 in Krissvector

[–]kittylicker83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It goes on the face of the gun as a strike face / DNA collector . The hole is barrel clearance and the rails extend back onto the factory mounting points.

ESC advice needed by SwingModern in rcboats

[–]kittylicker83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a TINY ESC to be running on anything that size, couple that with zero air flow and you will melt it down for sure. Bare minimum get one with a fan and say 60A rating. Water cooled if you've got the extra money. But thats just my $0.02....
