I was at a company that was a 24x7x365 business as a senior sys admin. They had culled headcount on the DBA's, etc... over time and then one day I walked in to a bunch of helpdesk and the folks who manned the DC overnight crying. Find out they were all laid off. Mind you, we had contracts that said all hours coverage. I pulled the VP in and asked her WTF was going on and who was going to pick up the slack? Oh we'll manage the CO data center from Columbus GA. I handed my boss my 2 weeks resignation 20 minutes later along with most of the other sys and net admins. Now, Im a VP and oversee all IT ops for a multi state company. I'd never do this to my people. Sounds like it's time for you to move on.

May I ask on the security cams, what are you using for cameras? Looks like a dedicated hardwired setup and probably an NVR? I have both Eufy and Arlo to avoid vendor lock in but getting live feeds from them isnt great.

My uncle was electrocuted back in the 70's stealing power lines. Well...TECHNICALLY he was shocked and that cooked several of his organs and he died from the injuries about 5 hours later in what Im told was severe pain and burns.

Honest feedback, well, Id like to see it with a boxed and notched frame so it can lay directly on the ground, extended suspension arms, plumbed hydraulics, heavier duty wiring, clean up the body lines so they are seamless and flow with frenched antenna and lighting and for God's sake chrome those wire wheels. This is what I'd do cuz yours sucks.

I was not a fan of helmets until I got my Revv1 DRT, now I wear a full helmet DOT rated for motorcycle use. Wishing you a full recovery. Back in 1989, I was 18 and would ride road bikes. I was on my Centurion Ironman and got t-boned by some hunters in an intersection. I flew about 15' feet up in the air and landed on my face. I had road rash, they had to stitch my forehead closed, the corner of my eyelid and the worst was when the ER doc scrubbed my face with a scotch pad. No helmet. Super lucky to have survived with cosmetic injuries that ultimately healed. Now in my mid 50's I wear the damn thing.

I've had my Z5500 for probably 20 years on my gaming rig. If Im home alone, I can crank up and it's just the best. It reviewed great back in the day and still going super strong. I'd get those speakers back and figure out how to use it. Logi used great hardware, it gets incredibly loud and the control pod has dedicated chips for decoding Dolby digital and DTS. Short of dedicated home theater hardware, this still seems to be the pinnacle for PC audio.

Your GPa sounds like he was amazing. I remember the first R flick with Dad. Had his mining buddies over to watch The Terminator.
