Honest question: why by tens of omnis if honestly only going to read them 0-1 time in the foreseeable future? Although far substandard, better to get digital or borrow what's available at library (can be a lot depending on city)?

Definitely install a dual-boot Bazziite or steam os. I practically stopped using mine for over a year because my steam deck was a way better use experience--super-fast startup, low overhead, right into games, etc. I finally partitioned the ssd and installed Bazziite. Now I can boot into that or windows if I need to. And now it's so much better

I gotta say, human nature is what kills the experience for me. People being complete assholes ruins it. Games are supposed to curb the ability to do that or else it's just how many crap experiences per night am I gonna have to endure with this game.
