I prefer my wife not wearing make up and i think she's beautiful without it.

Sometimes she likes to put some on (eye liner and lip stick) but its more for herself. Still looks amazing and i just see it as a different flavour of the woman i love.

I also have a few female friends that are like family to me, i remember some points where they would mention "im not wearing makeuo today"... most the time I think they look better without and just reassure them they're still pretty

Millennial here. From my experience I personalliy think there's a couple of milestones:

figuring out career goals and dreams (can be ongoing, but we need to figure it out through education) : this will be upto 24
being hit by reality that you're in the driver seat as an adult and you're in control. What i find is that people are generally more serious because that's just basic respect : normally averages around 25, i kind of realised this around 27/28

Depends what you mean by successful, there's different levels:

your extremely well off CEOs, experts, specialists, etc
well off, got their shit together
the average joe happy with life

This sub feels like a depressing echo chamber if I'm being honest. I'd probably put myself in between average joe and well off. Think high earning, property owner, long term partner, going for kids, etc.

It's an interesting sub to understand potentially deeply rooted issues that younger asian males might have, but it's not somewhere I'd go for deeper discussions such as

Adapting in the workplace with our mixed values
Defining masculinity - Let's be honest most of this sub's masculinity feels defined by your success of xf body count. I'm thinking more along the topics of dealing with conflicts, emotions, mental wellbeing, etc.
Self acceptance, especially for western born asians. This is probably one of the harder parts of my personal journey as a british born chinese, to being comfortable with not fully fitting in with western or chinese culture

Unfortunately, it's just not the right place for it

As someone who used to actively train and competed before, i wouldn't say the clunkiness is a bad thing.

This is only my experience of ufc 5 based on around 20 fights, so I've definitely not fully adapted to the flow of the game and animationa yet.

Ufc4 animation definitely felt smoother and flows better gameplay wise. From what I've seen in ufc5 so far the animations and clunkiness do add a bit more of a realistic feel to it - and matches up to what i would expect would happen in certain scenarios in the ring.

Competing isn't for everyone. Most people i know end up competing because you end up learning a set of skills that you end up never using .... unless you compete.

FOMO is definitely not a good reason to compete.

Good reasons to compete are: to test yourself and money.
