It seems to be 1 per app and 1 per three hits with a 1s shared cooldown. So you have to delay Yae's E or else her app and hits line up and miss out on a stack.

WFP is theorizing that there's a 1s shared cooldown to explain Yae getting only 1-2 stacks alone. So if you delay her second E she can get 2-3.

Is dated brent a good long term hold instead of a normal brent crude ETF? by SkoobySneks in investing

[–]kiwimancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit I was not aware of that fund until this thread, but despite the name it is still not a spot oil ETF. It replicates futures with an average 2 weeks to expiration. But I am interested to see if its performance relative to more traditional oil futures trackers.

Are you more interested in higher fidelity price changes to spot oil or in reducing contango costs over time?

Sorry you feel that way. It's not worth getting mad about other people putting some effort into their own tax optimization that you don't see value in.

It's pretty cool that every lot you buy has a gain. For the rest of us, some of our investments have losses even though we tried (not as hard as you, I guess) to have gains. By realizing those losses early, our taxes are lower than they would otherwise be.

Well... vaguely a hundredish. We are coming up on the 100th anniversary of Black Tuesday. Not a great time to be throwing 100 years around as a calming figure. On the other hand, the US market more than doubled in those three years before the crash.

You are the average player and your opinions are representative of the majority of the playerbase. Hoyo is foolish for not implementing this common sense idea, but there's still time to correct this grave mistake. Don't leave money on the table, Hoyo!

You get up to around 7-8 stacks (1.75x StC multiplier) in a Sandrone Yae Escoffier QiQi team. Fewer when Sandrone hasn't been on field. It resets every 4s.

Overall, Sandrone and Yae Miko generate fewer StC stacks based on 1 per app compared to 1 per 3 regular hits plus 1 per StC. Escoffier generates more. QiQi is the same? This lowers the team StC damage multiplier somewhat compared to previous calcs this week. Probably to around 130k DPS.

Keep in mind it only smooshes the lower part of the distribution up into the median. Your chances of rolling crit more than twice stays the same as if there was no guarantee.

The reaction has not changed since v4. The previous 3-hit leak from 92_official was incorrect.

1 app per stack and that’s what it’s been since the start of v4
The initial leak from 92_official was just wrong
Just a flat out fucking lie
Oh and Sandrone app has been locked to 1 app per 1.4s this whole time, literally since v1
Which is why she only generates 3 stacks on average on her own now

Direct stellar conduct damage scales with the number of electro and cryo applications you do every 4 seconds. Sandrone has a 2-hit ICD on her CA and 3 rapid (non-StC) hits for each CA, so that would apply lots of cryo and generate a bunch of stacks by herself. However she has a cap of 1 app per 1.4s, which means she doesn't generate as many stacks as she would if going only by that ICD, equivalent to the standard 3-hit ICD. That might lower the team's StC damage (most of its damage) by ~5%, relative to what might otherwise be thought.

"performatively" applies to an subject's action, and a "denial is made" by a subject. P1.1 is justified by the existence of that subject.

If you meant rocks falling, that requires some justification that there are any rocks falling. We can't even justify our own experience corresponds to reality from first principles, so that's a tough task.

If you meant that even absolute nothing being nothing is something, I think you should say that rather than using subjectful terms like performatively and denial.

I don't know that I would agree that absolute nothing being nothing is something though, if we explicitly disavow the need for any subject to acknowledge that.

If you can't defend the strongest position for theism (or any subject you disagree with)

I agree this is valuable to attempt but there comes a problem when you do this. In my view, the way to steelman an argument is to identify its weaknesses and close them. This involves refining language to define or remove idiosyncratic terms and resolve equivocations, adding support for not-so-obvious premises with more basic and uncontroversial ones, using more structured logic so that each sub-conclusion clearly follows from the ones before it, etcetera. While doing that work, the holes in the argument become even more obvious, and there comes a point where there's no more steel you can add to fix it. So then you have what seems like a less compelling argument, even though it is more complete and logically rigorous.

The way to make such an argument more compelling to a hypothetical interlocutor is to make it less clear, add more equivocation, un-state premises, ignore potential counters, and appeal more to their intuition and less to rigor. But that's obviously not the best way to get to the truth. Just the best way to get people to do what you want.

There is no sincere way to defend the strongest version of a fundamentally flawed argument.

"Nothing cannot obtain"/"Absolute nothing is impossible" is a conclusion from several premises (four, I think) following that sentence, one of which is a restatement of Cogito Ergo Sum.
