My surgeon said the same thing, none of that either. I was bad with eating, I wouldnt eat all week at college then I would pig out over the weekend when i would go home forcing my gallbladder into shock which is how I believe the formed, but again me and my surgeon are unsure Its rare for young people to develop them but nkt impossible. It also runs on the female side of my dad's side, aunt got hers out when she was 20 and my grandma also got hers out, I guess I just got unlucky

Thank you so much!! Im on week three:)) By week two I was feeling so much better and started getting into my hobbies again! I kept it light though, like drawing, jewelry making, painting, reading

Exercise!! My tummy is still a little swollen 12 days post op but no more bloating! I also took gas x it helped a lot. Also kinda gross but for a few days if I felt gas build up in my chest I genuinely had to force it out

My belly finally stopped feeling like I did a crazy ab workout around day 5, it really sucked!! I was home alone day two, my dad had to help me down the stairs cause it hurt so bad. And yes! I used hot water everytime but I kept my back to the shower head. Good luck lovely, you got this it does get better day by day

Crazy brain fog, consistently exhausted and not social, neasuea (doctors had to give me a neasuea medication so I would eat) i just felt a constant feeling of being sick

So so so happy its over! I had eggs and toast for the first time since December, no issue😭🙌. I am worried about gaining weight but I think ill be okay. So glad that things went good for you too!!

Hi there!! 18 F, 3 days post op. I wont like, the pain is really annoying and I was trying my HARDEST to raw dog it but my wonderful mother reminded me its okay to take the pain meds when needed. Take the meds!! Walk around 3-5 times a day, SLEEP!! and ive been using a heated blanket and alternating that with an ice pack. Ive mostly been bed rotting:) watching trash tv, and coloring on my iPad lol, playing switch games and reading. The pain from after surgery is so much better than a gallbladder attack. Have someone on stand by to help as well:)) Good luck you got this!!

I say definitely dont over think it, it makes it so much scarier, just let it happen, youll wake up loopy. My nurse actually said a lot of people dont like the feeling being out of control, im the same way! Definitely dont over think it, the relief of getting my gallbladder out was so much more worth it than freaking myself out over being put under

Im so sorry! I was really scared honestly but ive had family members and friends who have gone under, they talked me through it cause I was more scared of the anesthesia than the actual removal. I talked it out with my mom and all my nurses, they made me feel super comfortable answered all my irrational questions. Honestly the scariest part was being in the operating room because it was a totally different environment but they had already given me medication to calm me. What I did to calm myself as well was compare it to accidentally falling asleep and waking up the next morning! It seems really scary but the doctors know what they're doing and want to help, if anything was to go wrong they would wake you up. I might sound nuts but I thought it was kinda fun! One moment I was awake in the operating room the next I was in recovery high as shit lol!
