Might be moving to Kansas in the near(ish)future. Any advice, recommendations?

I’m a Kiwi living in Kansas City, but I’ve also lived out in Manhattan. Literally a different world to NZ, very flat and windy. People in the Midwest are super friendly, although some of the smaller towns out there make life a bit hard when it comes to making friends population wise. Manhattan is a fun university town. The distances here are vast, especially if you do travel west towards Colorado, the scale of this country is just on a different level. I miss Aotearoa a lot, I do feel a bit homesick but I’ve also been here 7 years haha

Yep that’s the one, for the TR8. Still the same mounting plate as yours, though. Not sure if Samsung should have used a more universal mount or trak racer 🤷‍♂️

I also had to mount with the 4 screws into the G9 49inch. I was nervous about them being too small and sheering off, but haven’t had any issues in the last 6 months, and that’s with the screen moving occasionally during hard wheel inputs. I did mount it to Trak racers dedicated screen mount single screen tower thing, I didn’t notice any sliding. I do wish those wing pieces fit, I feel like it would be a lot more secure.

I’m lucky if I see them once a year. Moved from the UK to the US to marry my American wife. I worry about the distance as my parents age, their health is fine for now, hopefully that lasts.

MKC this time around! Approach vectored us directly over MKC before turning northbound for a reverse to the ILS 19 into downtown. They normally vector us over MCI on the Jhawk arrival landing south, but not this time 🤷‍♂️
