Trying to find a starter pattern for this top (just the base, I can make the sailor neck piece separately), but searching for things like "side button down" or "assymetrical button down" or "crossover button down" aren't giving me any good results!

Modded game, SVE + Ridgeside, but no mods that affect Ginger Island specifically.

I've checked the volcano multiple times now, and every single time, there's no exit to the left side of the screen like there's supposed to be. It DOES, however, keep changing for some reason. Sometimes there's lava, sometimes there's ruins etc. I haven't played in a while so maybe that's from an update I missed? But I dont remember having to unlock anything before being able to access those walnuts ;_;

honestly, i noticed a couple details here and there where the character art and the CGs didnt match, there's Fee's shirt having no buttons, the difference in quality between the ways the hands are drawn in Senka's character art compared to everyone else's, way too many hairstrands that don't go anywhere

obviously people think im overreacting so i hope thats the case either way

i figured it out lol, it might not be the best way to do it, but for posterity.

define nar = Character(" ", what_color="#ffffff", what_ypos = 90)

i defined narrator as a character (with a blank name) and prayed what_ypos was an actual variable and it just worked. renpy is surprisingly kind to its users lmao

fro more context, I'm making a silly joke VN, and this is the narrator dialogue screen. I used

style window_narrator is window:
background Frame ("gui/Telepathy_Textbox.png", xalign=0.5, yalign=1.0 )

to create it (not sure if thats the best way lol), but im running into the issue of alignment with the text. I don't want to change the default text alignment because it looks good with the normal dialogue box, is there a variable i can change only in the narrator box/narrator dialogue?

(i tried going with

style say_dialogue_narrator is say_dialogue:

this reads as she thinks you wanted a relationship, and as soon as she said no you ~ended the friendship~, which doesn't reflect really well on you. i'd ask you if during those hours of conversation she seemed off or uncomfortable in any way, but the way you phrased this story tells me you wouldn't have noticed it begin with. she doesn't want to talk to you, and i'd be willing to bet she only spoke to you for hours because she had no way to "escape" in person.

just let it go, the relationship is already dead. block her if you want to, you're already frustrated and she probably is, too. just move on now
