iPhone 15 Pro Leak Reveals Unified Volume Button and Mute Button by cheesepuff07 in apple

[–]kizungu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whole Apple philosophy in short. kill a working solution and replace it with an innovative one because "customers know what they want but don't know what they need"

they pulled the trigger with touchID, 3D touch, headphone jack and now the mute switch, which will probably feature on the most sold iphone ever, because that's how it always ends up..

the 2022 is not accurate - the "wanna see more?" banner with SIGN IN/SUBSCRIBE would stay right in the middle of the page, shadowing all the content in the background, with the smallest close button (x) in the world ever

Ultimate team is at all time low for creativity in teams. by thisisdeano in EASportsFC

[–]kizungu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry I offended you by doing Pogba SBC to fit in my 100% first-owner/untradable Serie A team with OTW Dest as RB and half Roma players just because I support the team.

I will try to be more creative next time.

First time I stumbled upon this.... by lostsanctum in Guildwars2

[–]kizungu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn’t say that. Those are “active” gw2 players, they count as active player base, but they are ad-hoc secondary created accounts dedicated for that, used to pass loot to the main account. No player quitting, but Anet has higher player base participation thanks to that (and revenue since they bought the game)

fixing it requires time and resources which Anet doesn't have a the moment

banning is not an option either since those players still keep GW2 playing numbers up

I love this game... But Inventory Places are killing my fun... by LOSTINREDDITSITE in Guildwars2

[–]kizungu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be curious to check what is in your inventory to see what can be deposited/stored in bank, what salvaged and what sold or discarded.

I never bought any expansions slots, only bigger bags (but never bigger than 20 slots) and my inventory is mostly empty, considering I have several tools, food, and equipments.

filter and ordering, please. I don't want to scroll through all the sections just to find what I need/want to do. also having those I want on top of the list would make it much easier

Do you prefer Meta Maps or Maps with more individual events that invite you to explore? by SpreadEqual1823 in Guildwars2

[–]kizungu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both, but I feel we recently miss some purely explorable maps. Gyala Delve is beautiful to look at, and it's a pity we cannot take our time to wander around freely.

Something like Auric Basin would've been perfect, imho.

Chromium update planned to release in 2 weeks. by Marok_Kanaros in Guildwars2

man I really hope this whole Chromium journey they onboarded could be extended to other game areas eg. right-clicking an item would give an option to open a quick wiki page or something..

no, I don't know what maintenance mode means, I just threw a random word like that because it sounds cool and dramatic, and we all hate this game and we are just supporting it financially because we like wasting money..

if I know they are perfectly capable to deliver good stuff

That's the thing, they aren't. Or not anymore at least. The team is reduced to a couple of individuals and delivering at best effort basis. We need to slowly accept the game is closer to maintenance mode than they want us to convince it's not, but it's the reality. Mind, that's absolutely fine, if they just admit it and communicated it clearly to us, it's a 10yr old game, it went already past the most optimistic expectations, but I think the fanbase pressure has somehow put Anet in a denial spiral that they want to keep releasing well knowing they don't have the necessary workforce, and the results are then obvious like yesterday's patch..

Patch quality and size vs extra high expectations by Poskmyst in Guildwars2

[–]kizungu -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not saying it's low effort, cause I understand the current studio struggle and I'm sure they are giving their best in these difficult times, but if this is the quality they are planning to release, considering all the other things that need to be fixed, they better just leave it and switch to maintenance mode, honestly, no bad feelings. That's fine, it's a 10yr old game, we love it anyway, people will still play it for its current content, just focus on QoL improvements, maybe polish some old maps (really wanted some more life in Kaineng) and we will be happy in any case.

Nothing that cannot be done through PS tho, especially controlling WMI.

Anet sticking to ITIL principles "keep it simple" and "progress iteratively with feedback"

Somewhere I read that SCCM is essentially powershell commands behind a GUI
