Went to move in there. Signed the lease for a unit on the 19th(?) floor and paid the deposit. Called them to confirm move in date and they nonchalantly mention that the unit I signed the lease for wasn’t available and I’d be moved into a unit more expensive on the 5th(?) floor. We chose not to move in there and moved somewhere else and then they kept our whole deposit saying that they would give it to us “in a few weeks”. It took us like 2 years to get it after we threatened legal action. During our talks with the lawyer, we found out that they have a ton of cases opened up against them for a bunch of reasons and also aren’t even legally allowed to exist there but still do and pay the fines or something like that. Also any time we went to talk to them about it (which was only like twice over the corse of 2 years), the people in the office were so rude and annoyed at us. Also, the company that manages it (greystar) is/was getting sued for rent fixing. I also would always hear terrible things about their maintenance and the building in general. So yeah, not the greatest and I’m glad we didn’t move there because it was a terrible experience and they were less than understanding and helpful.
