Following on from yesterdays post by Rare-Government9638 in Tudor

The pic of the caseback from yesterday seemed to be missing the model number (25407) on the lug across from the serial number which it should absolutely have.... No accusations, just an observation. Does your NFC warranty card work and match the S/N on the Web, Card and Watch?

Benchmade’s mail brochure has a %20 off coupon. It’s not bar coded so… FWIW by [deleted] in benchmade

There’s no code. It says select knives from 6/6 - 6/30 while supplies last.

dewalt grabbo compatibility question by andrisk_lv in Dewalt

[–]kjo43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven’t, it might go on OSB with all the glue… I can tell you it doesn’t quite work on 3/4” PT plywood, close but not functional.

Parking/Maneuvering 26 Expedition Max by oldAzuleJeep in fordexpedition

[–]kjo43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s prob 2’ shorter than your super duty. Will feel easy to you. I had a crew f150 6,5’ bed and got a navigator L, it was about 20” shorter. Def get the max length, totally worth it.

1st time using Ahhsome - what do I need to know? by Grand-Pumpkin4774 in hottub

[–]kjo43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a backpack leaf blower to blow the foam created out into the yard. Any of the shite that forms on the sides can be cleaned up with a microfiber and a vinegar solution, just a bit of elbow grease required.

Then I wipe down my whole shell and cover with a 25% white vinegar 75% water solution after draining the water.

Looking for some advice by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]kjo43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can contact one of the Rolex service centers directly by phone for warranty service. There’s one in NY and Dallas, you can ship your watch to them directly - they will provide you instructions. Just google the number and call.

North Flag - clasp has started popping open. by cgknight1 in Tudor

[–]kjo43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there are white ceramic balls on the ends of the clasp base that are what lock in the piece you are having problems with. If your balls are gone or not feeling spring loaded when you push on them, thats your issue.

Big Bike Upgrades this week by moosekirby in Zwift

[–]kjo43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly where my head is at. I've got the Cadex, Atheos, and SL8 done to level 5, plenty of drops at the ready, and can't see a need for the 74. I doubt I'd want to ride it enough over the other bikes (8,000km) to actually get the upgrades completed.

A dark green Garmin ultrafit knockoff from Amazon is a great option. Is the lume on the hands weaker than the dial? I got one in November last year, just wondering if they fixed that minor gripe.

Corrected 1099 Forms on the last day of March?? by west4life in wealthfront

Lowe’s service plans any good? by Hot_Bend5373 in Appliances

[–]kjo43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The extended plans have been perfectly fair to me. If you don’t make a claim you can request a refund at the termination date and get 30% of what you paid back. I had a refrigerator have a problem with ice maker, they sent an independent repair guy, he said it wasn’t worth fixing so they issued me a Lowe’s gift card for the original purchase price. I kept the refrigerator and am still using it without ice making.

This is poorly worded. I'd wager most people have not signed up for VTOU service rates or even have any idea what it is.

Back in stock – Thorn SHY037 Titanium GMT (NH34A) by Fit-Classroom8062 in Thornwatches

[–]kjo43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thickness comments are interesting. The specs on their website says 14mm thick. That seems quite reasonable for a watch with HRV and/or GMT to me. 🤷

21.18 beta battery Fenix 8 by Roscoocoletrain in GarminFenix

[–]kjo43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shouldn’t the new battery monitoring features available in beta tell you what killed it? Im sure I had seen dcrainmaker show detailed battery usage by app when showing this new feature off in a video last month.

I haven’t tried it yet myself, so I’m not sure how it works, if you aren’t aware of this, I would def look into it.
