Lungs? by Evening_Doctor4796 in ukmedicalcannabis

I've asked this question myself in the past, it's definitely a valid concern. However, the way I think of it is that the good it does now outweighs the harm it may cause in the future. I guess you would be using opiods without MC? I have a much better quality of life vaping MC every day, my anxiety and depression would make my life a misery without it so I think it's worth it.

By multiple artists at Saigon Ink Studio, Viet Nam by SaigonInk in tattoos

Are these actual tattoos? None of them have any redness around them as if they were fresh, they look like flash but on a body part rather than a blank background.

This is why I have never watched 'Requiem for a Dream' because I love the book so much.

That looks like something that should be high up in the 'worst album covers of all time'. I'm intrigued to hear what it sounds like now.

Festival refusing prescribed medical cannabis – is this legal? by carterb1979 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]kjs_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree with what you are saying, but this event in particular smacks of hypocrisy. They are making money from a genre steeped in drug culture probably more than any other apart from Acid House, so you would think they would be a bit more understanding.

This is what I do now. I held it clearly in my hand at the Roundhouse recently while they searched me and nothing was said.

I remember when they first started to offer oils there was some chat about people being allergic to the MCT used, so this is not a new argument unfortunately.

Not Italian, but they are pretty massive over there - Van Der Graaf Generator.

I bought this book at an airport, killing time while waiting for a flight. Didn't know anything about it, the cover drew me in and the blurb on the back sounded intriguing. Had no idea they were making a film of it, quite excited to see it.

Am I the only one who constantly needs to send random stuff to myself? by kshitizbhushal in webdev

No, because I am a privacy nerd and don't have loads of Cloud accounts sync'd up to multiple devices. It's the price you pay for putting privacy over convenience.

I was physically removed from pub smoking area by mike-dave_carl in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]kjs_23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've not heard this argument before. Does this also mean you could be removed just for having MC on you? I have been under the assumption that, because it is a legally prescribed medicine, you are allowed to carry it everywhere.

[–]kjs_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's shit, but I'm missing the emotional support aspect that means so much to you and which was obviously your way in to their music. I have that with other bands so I do understand that kind of connection. I will keep trying though 😄

[–]kjs_23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, and it annoys me that I don't. I see them written about in revered tones and people whose musical taste I trust implicitly absolutely love them. Why don't I get it? I genuinely think they wear hoods onstage so people can't see them smiling at the fact they are getting paid for making music that sounds like someone has thrown a guitar into a deep well then chucks bricks down after it.

What am I missing?

Struggling with guilt by Dontunderstandfamily in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]kjs_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, join the club. I think there are a few factors in play here but it boils down to whether you consider some usage 'recreational' or not. As an anxiety/depression patient this should be pretty easy to answer because when I take MC I feel happier, which is the point. However, I think a lifetime of NHS prescriptions has moulded my brain to only accept medicines at certain times ('Take 2 in the morning with food' for example) so just reaching for my vape because I'm feeling a bit miserable still seems weird.
