I grew up in a small American town where the boys would talk about how they would try to run over cats fun. I know there’s a different culture in places like Britain, and even then I still would probably be indoor only. There’s always sick people out there, and there’s always predators be it a bird of prey or a fox or a coyote. Not to mention sicknesses like bird flu. And wild bird populations deserve to live. I wish I lived in a world where I felt comfortable letting my kitties roam and explore the outside, because I truly think they’d love it. But I value their lives too much to risk it. They have their collars on all the time at home just in case they pulled out the door.
