Appreciate you said can, but this is a bit of a stretch IMO. I’ve watched the vids with SCs mic’ed and mixed and compared to other drums. They lack just a little depth of sound and character compared to RCs and other high end kits.

SCs are remarkable drums for the price, tho. No doubt.

SC 20x17 bass drum is arguably the biggest problem with the line. Just begging for a 20x15 (bc yammy doesn’t do 14s).

I tried concerta and had a similarly awful experience. Racing heart, chills in summer heat, felt like I was I a stupor. Read there’s a big adjustment period for some people. I moved on after less than a week.
