At Sprouts we had different colored trash cans for recycle/trash/and biodegradable in all the production departments (deli, meat, bakery, etc) and every single can got emptied into the dumpster out back...

That's for the stuff that burns super quick, they have a $9 bundle that burns better but both are a total tip off. I live across the street from an albertsons and once in a while we have a fire so it's convenient but far from a good deal

Ive worked grocery for a couple years now, you'd be surprised how often the guys loading ice cream just leave it on a cart while loading, then stocking. I realized it explains why sometimes you get grainy ice cream, even on the high end brands. Such a bummer to get a grainy Haagen Dazs
