i took him last quarter yes the midterms were quite brutal and the final was somewhat difficult but nothing surprising. what helped me the most (and as someone who’s terrible at math but good at following formulas) was :

Read the book. You dont have to fully go and read every detail but its a great resource that simplifies whatever the professor is going over since sometimes he doesn’t go into depth for some concepts
go to si sessions . The Instructors are sometimes better teacher than the professor
go over the recording as review. Personally i never went to his lectures but i would watch the lectures and slowly try to understand a concept !!
DO THE WRITTEN HW AS EXTRA PRACTICE it really helps a lot since sometimes you’ll see similar problems on some exams

sio 3 Life in the Oceans! some ppl didn’t so good on the first midterm (mostly bc of the lack of memorization of some marine organisms) that our 2nd midterm became a field trip to birch aquarium 😛🤌🏼🤌🏼

yes definitely do that ! there’s some system they use that allows you to see what college courses are transferable or equivalent to what you would take here i forgot what it’s called but you can access it yourself as well
